Bel Ami Movie UK did some investigation on the Bel Ami release dates and came up with these answers:

1 – Has Bel Ami gained distributors yet for the 3 remaining areas?  ~ “NOT YET”
2 - We have heard from a Swedish source that Bel Ami is likely to view
at either the Berlin or Cannes film festivals next year and if that is
the case will release be delayed until after both these events? ~ “YES”
3 – Are there any plans to release any more promotional material in
the near future? ~ “NO”
