They have a flashback scene of the Volitori (sp?) killing/ punishing someone who did not follow the “vampire rules”. Carlise is in the flashback this flashback is when he was with them. ( at least this is a scene I read about, but can’t recall where I read this?)

It is Carlisle. It’s a flashback sequence to when Carlisle was with the Volturu 🙂
