Why is everyone saying that? They definitely had more then one silver volvo. And if they didn’t then they could of bought one with the new budget. The black volvo has grown on me. Though, stupid shiny volvo owner doesn’t hold true as much as it did before.
If you read about the Cullen cars on Stephenies site, you’ll see that this Volvo is correct. And it’s a steel gray, not black. It’s the right one. Catherine had it wrong in Twilight. Chris has it right.
CH – Catherine Hardwick – director of twilight. I thought she done a good enough job with what summit give her but wow CW (Chris Weitz) seems to have done an amazing job and really took on a lot more details from the book. CW for Breaking Dawn
Oh I caught right away!! But so much was wrong in Twilight bc of CH. Who had time to nick pick about a car when there was so much more to complian about. One being the horrible tracks in Bella’s hair, etc., etc.
Ok people… I know we’re all huge fans of the books, but movies CAN be alittle different. First off, when Stephenie wrote the first book, I’m sure Edward’s car was the newest and best model (cuz the Cullens rock like that) AT THE TIME. Being how it’s 3 years later (when the 1st book was published to the first movie) they probably didnt want him driving a 3 year old car!
Second…. you’re missing the best part of this picture… I love how Edward parks his car! THATS not how they describe him parking in the book, but nobody says anything about that! Don’t be so pety and just enjoy the movie!!!!

I believe they changed the Volvo in New Moon.
Actually, Rob gave the C30 to a fan on the Tyra Banks show, so they had to get a new one for New Moon.

this is the wrong car… edward’s volvo is the s60r…not the c30 and neither this model… ! but c30 was better than this…at least the c30 was gray…
