Kojo Pictures distributes Little Ashes starring Robert Pattinson Star of “Twilight” and this year’s hottest new film “New Moon” acting sensation Robert Pattinson takes on a diverse role in his latest film, Little Ashes, which premieres this week in Adelaide. The film is being distributed by South Australia’s fastest growing film production and distribution company Kojo Pictures. Robert Pattinson, the young British star of Twilight, takes on the challenging role of playing the eccentric and flamboyant artist, Salvador Dali. The film focuses on Madrid in the jazz era of 1922 when the young artist studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, with playwright Federico Garcia Lorca (Javier Beltran) and renowned filmmaker Luis Bunuel (Matthew McNulty). Salvador Dali arrives at the university as an 18 year old, determined to become a great artist. His bizarre blend of shyness and rampant exhibitionism attracts the attention of Lorca and Bunuel, two of the university’s social elite. The film will play at the Sydney Mardi Gras Film Festival in February (12th-25th) and the Melbourne Queer Festival in March (11th – 21st) before being released by Kojo Pictures around the country mid 2010.   1. I couldn’t imagine Rob in this movie but loved it when I finally saw it. Dali was weird and Rob does weird very well. Love him to bits.
