What a tough life for Up in the Air Golden-Globe nominee Anna Kendrick – jetting between film sets with a two-time PEOPLE Sexiest Man Alive winner and with one of the world’s favorite vampires.
Shedding light on shooting Up in the Air with George Clooney and Twilight with Robert Pattinson, Kendrick, 24, tells Ellen DeGeneres on the TV’s host’s Jan. 8 show, “George gave me such a hard time about shooting Twilight. Whenever I came back, it was like, ‘Oh sorry, this isn’t the Twilight set. You’re not working with Mr. Handsome.’ He called Rob ‘Mr. Handsome.’ “
But Kendrick admits she helped egg on the pseudo-competition, bringing back a GQ magazine that she had Pattinson sign, “To George, Best of Luck. Hang in there. Love Rob.”
Clooney’s response? He signed his Esquire magazine, “Dear Rob, Thanks for all the inspiration. I’m a huge fan. Love, George, two-time ‘Sexiest Man Alive.’ ”

In my opinion a lot of celebrity do-gooders are totally phony and engage in so called good deeds merely for positive publicity. I have to say that I don’t think that George is one of the phonies out there in the world of celbrity do-gooders. I admire what he is doing for the Haitian people. I wish more celebrities were as real as he is when it comes to helping out those less fortunate in the world. So kudos to George and his desire to make this world a better place.
