  2. Just also wanted to say how impressed I am with this whole telecast. George Clooney did a great job putting this together and rallying the troops. I like how the celebrities are not dolled up and look at how many are manning the phones! It’s very low key, not glitzy, which is very appropriate. My favorite performance so far is Justin Timberlake’s “Hallelujah”. Simply equisite. Very moving.

  7. Painful to watch. He was either extremely uncomfortable or extremely emotional about the subject matter (hopefully the latter). I’ve read that he’s very shy and doesn’t like being in the spotlight, but he has seemed so much more poised in other public venues. There’s already some negative feedback about his appearance and the fact that this segment was pre-recorded. Would like to hear others’ comments and insights as to why he appeared to be so nervous.
