MTV have reported on their website that “Twilight film bosses have revealed that fans in the UK will be able to buy tickets to see Eclipse from May 21.
Those Twi-hards who get in there early will then be able to see the movie on either July 3 or 4 BEFORE the movie opens properly on July 9”
However no further details have been released as to whether this is going to be nationwide across all theatres or whether it’s going to be for certain theatres only.

After last week’s paramount news that The Twilight Saga: Eclipse‘s soundtrack headliner would be Muse, Twilight fans have already come around to expect that this, the third of the Twilight series film soundtracks, would be something to look forward to.
This evening, the cover art for the official soundtrack has been revealed (pictured right) by Amazon!
As you know, the album is available for pre-ordering at various venues, and its release date is set for June 8th.
Also revealed by Amazon is the release date for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse: The Score by Howard Shore. It, which is also available for pre-ordering, will be released on June 29th (the same date as the Official Illustrated Movie Companion)!
Mark your calendars! Advance tickets for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse will be available starting May 14, 2010 on MovieTickets.com. Eclipse, starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, opens nationwide June 30, 2010.
Initially reported nearly two weeks ago that tickets for “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” were beginning to go on sale. At the time, moviefone.com had listed three theaters across the nation offering online sales for the 12AM show. As of today, moviefone.com alone has increased the original number by twenty, and many local theaters have opened sales for the 12AM showing offline.
The best advice for getting tickets as early as possible is to head to your local theater in person. Many theaters have their own practices for selling tickets for shows with sensational openings, (e.g., the “Twilights” and “Harry Potters” of the world). My own local theater, arranges fan-focused events—last November they had a 10:00PM showing of “Twilight” and folks in that theater took an intermission before returning to their seats for “New Moon”. They also sold tickets for a large-screen showing in the IMAX theater. In the cases of both “special” events, tickets were only available for in-person purchase at the box office.
If you prefer to buy online, check both large sites like moviefone.com and Fandango, and check the online web site of your local theater.
