Although Robert Pattinson is currently promoting Water for Elephants, Pattinson recently admitted in an interview with Fox News that he wants to do a movie in Detroit.
In a recent interview with MyFoxDetroit, Robert Pattinson mentioned that he’s always wanted to film a movie in Detroit. Pattinson, who will also be seen in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, stated that he was looking into doing something in the Motor City since it has a gritty quality that he likes. “There’s something about the city. I like harsh.” Robert Pattinson also admitted that Detroit “looks good, it’s got a good look to it.”

From Popsugar: The day you’ve been waiting for is almost here — get ready for popcorn, soda, and candy, because Water For Elephants premieres this week, and we can hardly wait! The film tells the tumultuous tale of Jacob (Robert Pattinson), a veterinary student who suddenly loses both his parents, Marlena (Reese Witherspoon), a beautiful performer, and Rosie, the lovable elephant who inevitably brings these star-crossed lovers together.
The chemistry in this film is undeniable — I’m pretty sure Reese’s costumes have something to do with it. So grab your girlfriends, and get yourself to the theater April 22 to see how this forbidden love story unfolds. Check out the trailer below!
From Fablife: Have you seen Hal Holbrook in Into The Wild? His storyline is our favorite in that movie (don’t worry, Kristen Stewart‘s #2) and he’s a seasoned and spectacular actor. On Sunday he told us that his Water for Elephants co-star Robert Pattinson impressed him with his “manner” and called him a “modest young man.” Everyone we’ve ever talked to about Pattinson has echoed Holbrook’s sentiment, and the few times we’ve interviewed him we’ve noticed the same thing. Humble RPattz is humble!
Holbrook, who plays the older version of Rob’s character in the movie, also marveled at how much he looks like a younger version of himself. His entire interview is very sweet – we love his thoughts on the megalomania of Hollywood, of which both he and Rob seem destined to avoid. Watch above.
Christoph Waltz may be best known for his Oscar-winning turn in Inglorious Basterds, but he’s taking on another famous villain with his portrayal of August in Water For Elephants, which hits theaters Friday. We caught up with the Austrian-born actor at the film’s recent press day. He talks about uncovering the dark side in his characters, how Robert Pattinson handles his fame, and Reese Witherspoon’s impressive stunt work on set. Christoph also clears up what’s real and what’s rumor when it comes to his upcoming roles, and whether bringing a literary figure to life on the big screen is a special kind of challenge.
From Fablife: At the Water for Elephants premiere Sunday night we interviewed the lovely Donna Scott, who plays Barbara in the movie. Without revealing too many spoilers, Barbara is one of the racier ladies lurking in the circus tents, and gets it on with a very drunk Jacob (Robert Pattinson). Donna gave us the deets on what it’s like kissing the “lovely” actor and told us that “every scene with Rob is an infamous scene.” Don’t we know it, Donna! As for shooting that one scene where things get a little hot, heave and naked between Barbara and Jacob, she says, “Rob was more uncomfortable than I was!” Awwww, how sweet. Clip above.
