New Information on The Summer House 3 comments
The Summer House was screened at the British Society of Cinematographers New Cinematographers Night in November of 2009.
The BSC updated with their program for that night, including The Summer House, listing it as 14 minutes long.
Filmed in France, this is the first venture by Miss Gili to produce write and direct her own short film. Although she is joint principle of the non government funded London Film Academy, her short was made totally independent of the LFA. The result is a warm, dreamy piece, which captures the lazy summer afternoons and cool evenings at the French villa, for a gathering of family members. I suppose the temptation may have been there to pace it up a bit, but she held to the story which gently unfolded. Nicely photographed by Alex Ryle.

MTV: So how did “Remember Me” come your way? Did you have to read with Rob?
De Ravin: They’d been looking to cast my role for a while, looking at a lot of different girls. I read the script three weeks before they started shooting. I flew to New York to test with Rob and we immediately got along and had instant great chemistry, which is not an easy thing to come by. Obviously you’re acting, but you want to have that connection with somebody. We had it. And I was thrown into a wardrobe fitting that same day.

It’s been a good month for Johnny Depp between being named Actor of the Decade at the People’s Choice Awards and being the guest of honor at Serbia’s Kustendorf Film and Arts Festival, and now he has another accolade to celebrate — he’s at the top of GQ’s Most Stylish Men in the World list. Joining Johnny in the magazine is Robert Pattinson, along with Brad Pitt, David Beckham, and Tom Brady. Robert, for one, has been keeping a very low profile over the last few months but he’ll step back into the spotlight Friday when he joins George Clooney at the Hope for Haiti telethon.

Robert Pattinson is on board.
I just got word that the Twilight star has signed on for Friday’s Hope for Haiti telethon. As of right now, it looks like Rob will be the sole presenter in London with performances by Jay-Z and Bono.
Stateside performers—some announced and others not—will include:
Taylor Swift, Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, Shakira and Bruce Springsteen are among those who will perform live during the two-hour benefit, which will air on all the major television networks (including our very own E!).
Other mega-celebs who will present and/or help in the phone banks are Jennifer Aniston, Jake Gyllenhaal, Brad Pitt, Anna Kendrick, Sandra Bullock, Zac Efron, Bradley Cooper, Renee Zellweger, Chris Pine, Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Colin Farrell, Jon Hamm, Gabby Sidibe and Emily Blunt, among many others.
No word yet on Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, but as I was the first to tell you Hollywood’s hottest vampire movie trio is a very wanted group for the telethon because of the impact they would have with young people.
Also on organizers’ wish list are—no surprise—Oprah Winfrey and Angelina Jolie.
Clooney is set to host from Los Angeles with Wyclef John in New York City and CNN newsman Anderson Cooper in Haiti.
Hope for Haiti will air Fri Jan 22 from 8-10 PM on ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, CNN, BET, The CW, HBO, MTV, VH1 and CMT, & others around the world. (Thanks @larry411 for that last bit)
