  4. Pedro Almodóvar Caballero

  5. Hmmm Baz Luhrmann and Tim Burton. 🙂

  6. I second fiiilmfreak! Tim Burton and/or Baz Luhrmann.
Tim Burton is my favourite director!

  7. David Fincher!

  8. James Cameron

  9. I would love to see him film with Burton or Peter Greenaway.

  10. David Fincher or Christopher Nolan or Richard Curtis.

  11. Bill Condon or James Cameron 😀

  12. Sam Mendes

  13. Ron Howard

  14. Christopher Nolan, Paul Greengrass, Steven Spielberg, Ang Lee

  15. Quentin Tarantino

  16. Tim Burton!

  17. Hmmm…coming from two different places as directors, I’d have to say Martin Scorsese or Baz Luhrmann.

  18. Oh, so many good director’s already mentioned. I am sure Rob wouldn’t mind working with any of them and he is a hard worker and dedicated to his craft so I bet they would all enjoy working with him. I guess I will throw in Gus Van Sant and Clint Eastwood as both have made some great movies.

  19. Alfonso Cuarón
    Martin Scorsese
    Ridley Scott

And Tim Burton? I don’t know, if not delirious and the story is so beautiful, like Edward Scissorhands then yes

  20. Martin Scorsese, Tarantino, And of course Tim Burton so we can have a pattinson and Depp movie *swoon* , Scorsese so we can get Rob an oscar!!

  21. Definitely Guy Ritchie (a fellow Brit) or Quentin Tarantino.

  22. Peter Jackson or M. Night Shyamalan!

  23. Also Richard Curtis would be cool…

  24. Sofia Coppola would be fantastic, or Michel Gondry, also Richard Linklater (my top 3 favourite directors) 🙂

  25. TARANTINO!!!

  26. Clint Eastwood!

  27. clint eastwood

  28. 1. Christopher Nolan, because he is a brilliant screenwriter and director. He is concerned not only with the technical details of the film but with the whole concept of the story and the work of the actors. He is one of the best directors of his generation, nowadays. I am praying to see Rob working with him. It would be great.
    2. Quentin Tarantino, because he has sense of humour like Rob, he is a great screenwriter, writes great dialogues and he is a director that encourages the creativity of actors, making them feeling comfortable. He is very respected in the world of cinema and he can deconstruct the image of heartthrob of Rob as he did with Clooney in From Dusk till Dawn and recently with Pitt in Inglorious Basterds.
    3. Michael Mann, because he is a great director and producer. He is versatile and very interested in the work of the actors. He made great and different films like The Last of Mohicans, with Day-Lewis and The Insider, with Russell Crowe.
    4. David Fincher, because he is a good director, with a mature work, he loves to experiment different styles and he made great films like Seven, Fight Club, Zodiac and now The Social Network. I think it would be great to Rob, work with him.
    5. The brothers Coen, because they are great screenwriters, directors and producers, have sense of humour and as Tarantino, they prove all the time that beautiful actors are great actors too. Clooney and Pitt made great films with them.
    6. Ridley Scott, because he is a great director and producer, concerned about everything in the film. He loves making great films for cinema and TV. Rob would learn a lot from him.
    7. Guy Ritchie, because he is a good director, discreet and very talented. He made a very good film with Pitt and I love his recent works: RocknRolla, with the inspired Mark Strong and Tom Hardy and Sherlock Holmes with Downey Jr and especially Jude Law, very good.
    8. Woody Allen, because he is a great screenwriter and refined director. Be invited to participate in one of his films is a gift to any actor, especially someone beginning his career as Rob.

    • I sure hope Rob will read this comment! It would be great for his career if he would indeed work with any of these directors! 🙂 thanks so much for this awesome reply!

  29. K. Bigelow

I thought she did a beautiful job with The Hurt Locker. I really enjoyed that movie and loved that she got an Oscar for her efforts. Of course, I think the script is the most important piece of any movie. No offense to M. Rosenberg, but a fresh scriptwriter is needed in his career stat.

  30. Ang Lee. Look what he did with Brokeback. He manages to bring out the soul of the movie. A sensitive, creative and has a quiet strength. Beautiful work. He and Rob should hit it off. Rob has the same sensitivity and humaness. Angs work is amazing in every aspect of the film making….my opinion of course.

  31. Scorsese & Tarantino…and yeah David Fincher would be an idea too. He seems to be the man of the moment with Social Network.

  32. I think it would be cool to see him in something very different so maybe Tarantino or the Coens or maybe something even more eccentric or surreal, like maybe David Lynch.

  33. TIM BURTON!!!!!! That would be a dream come true 🙂
