“Every life has a meaning… whether it lasts one hundred years or one hundred seconds… Every life…
And every death… changes the world in its own way…”
– Will Fetter (Remember Me Script)

We’re taking a moment today to make a special post to remember the victims of 9-11. To remember the heroes who risked their lives for others & to those who lost a loved one that day.

  1. I didn’t get a chance to comment on another thread where people wrote their stories related to 9/11. I don’t have a personal story but I want to say how heart wrenching it was to read the stories of so many brave people who were forced to face such fears. I live in Australia, very far from America but I remember clearly the night it was shown on TV. I had come home late, turned on the TV and just let it be whilst I was preparing things, when I finally paid attention I was literally frozen with fear, it seemed surreal, I couldn’t make sense of what was going on. Shock, horror, fear, anguish, despair for all those people left behind and for their loved ones who suffered. I won’t pretend to understand how people must have felt I can only imagine. Reading all those personal accounts gave me goosebumps and all I can do is cry for what happened, our world has changed and I’m still very angry at those who brought about this horrid and fearful change. My heart goes out to everyone who lost someone or who knew of someone, in fact everyone world wide. Thank you TOR for giving people the chance to tell their much felt stories.
