Film has an interview with Melissa Rosenberg where she discusses writing each of the Twilight movies, Dexter, and writing to meet a rating.
“LL: If an adaptation felt to you like an R rating, but the studio wanted you to bring it in at a PG-13, would that be doable?
MR: Oh yeah. It’s completely doable. You don’t sacrifice story by cutting language. Nor do you sacrifice story by showing less blood or gore, or whatever it is that’s bringing you to an R rating. It doesn’t hurt it. When Dexter was aired on CBS they had to re-cut some of it for network television and all they had to do was cut some language. There’s more blood and gore in an episode of C.S.I., though of course Dexter is more disturbing. Not because of what you see, but because of what’s implied. I don’t think you take away from suspense or character by altering a few things like that.
LL: Having read Breaking Dawn, where things get ratcheted up a notch, do you still go for that PG-13 rating?
MR: Oh yeah, absolutely. That’s your audience. In this series you don’t sacrifice anything. There are some movies that wouldn’t play at PG-13, like The Hangover, but this is just not one of them for me. Again, if you’re capturing character, emotion, and emotional journey, you’re OK.”

One thing that is not covered in the article is an issue that for whatever reason repetitively comes up. Breaking Dawn will not go to screen with a rated R rating because contractually it can’t. It would have to be recut to get a PG-13. Part of the deal for Summit to have the rights to the film is no more than a PG-13. You can still have blood and guts (ER’s final season anyone), and steamy romance (Remember Me and the Notebook) without broaching the R-rating.

Robert Pattinson Fans Cookbook Project
We are pleased to announce the Robert Pattinson Fans Cookbook project. Robnation.org, is joining forces with Spunk-Ransom.com, Twilightish.com, and Robpattinson.com to create a Rob-themed cookbook where the proceeds will go to help the people of Haiti and the preservation of nature.
The two charities we are supporting with the proceeds are both charities that Rob has supported/supports, YeleHaiti and the World Wildlife Fund. Rob participated in the Hope For Haiti Now telethon which donated some of its proceeds to YeliHaiti, and was recently seen on a video telling a fan the charity he supports the World Wildlife Fund. We will be donating 100% of the profits from the cookbook in the name of our websites, on behalf of Robert Pattinson, on a monthly basis once the book has been completed and published. We will be selling the book on our websites as well as Lulu.com. If you would like to learn more about these amazing charities, I have posted links to their websites below.
We need your help! We are looking for themed recipes that coincide with locations of movies Robert has worked on. As an example, “Little Ashes” was filmed in Madrid so maybe some recipes from Spain. Robert is from London so maybe some recipes from his homeland. “Twilight” was shot in both Canada and Washington so some recipes indigenous to that area. Also recipes can include names such as “Vampire…..” or “Wizard….” Truly the sky is the limit on this one.
We are looking for recipes in the following categories:
1. Appetizers
2. Soups/Salads
3. Main Courses
4. Sides
5. Desserts
If you would like to donate a recipe, please visit our forum by clicking the link below to for instructions/rules/restrictions:

THE STARS
Robert Pattinson, Emilie de Ravin, Pierce Brosnan
THE STORY
Two new lovers (played by Pattinson and de Ravin), each with troubled backgrounds, try to find some sort of hope and happiness in New York.
THE VERDICT
If you thought Robert Pattinson had mastered gloomy in the Twilight films, then this dense and moody romantic drama takes suffocating gloominess to a new level. It relishes its sense of romantic unhappiness, with a dark and gritty New York the perfect backdrop.
There is a moving dramatic twist in the climax that some may see coming… but if you don’t it is impressively wrenching.
FINAL CUT – FOUR STARS
Moody drama has Robert Pattinson on impressive form

It would be funny if I start my article formally with an introduction of the hot superstar of today, Mr. Robert Pattinson. The 23 year old has himself let the world know about him so much that there remains no place and requirement for any further foreword.
But in spite of the superfast superstardom, RPattz prefers a humble and down to earth approach. He is ever so friendly with his fans and the reporters and hasn’t let showbiz glitters hypnotized him.
Now that is something unique for a star like him and that too with such a young age where people get easily carried away with popularity. But that is certainly not the thing we are referring to in our title.
Then is it RPattz’s passion for music that is highlighting him as unique? Well, we know Robert Pattinson is also quite into music. He plays guitar and piano and can sing as well. But that is not exactly we are looking for either!
We have categorised some unique qualities that have become the trademark of this hottie. These are something that reminds you of Rob as you read about it…
1. Smile – Robert Pattinson has a unique smirk that is both innocent as well as sexy at the same time. The heartwarming smile further enhances his killing looks adding the oomph factor to his personality.
2. Ruffled hairstyle – You like it, or you don’t…Rob is exclusive with his untidy and unkempt hairstyle that gives him the “just from bed” look. The messy hairstyle follows him everywhere he goes including events like red carpet etc. making him identifiable even from a distance!
3. Wit – Rob’s sense of humor is the third in our list that makes him distinctive. Though most of the times his witty one-liners are misunderstood and misinterpreted by the media, it surely sets Rob different from others.
Fans, especially girls, will come up with several other things to prove their favorite star as unique. And we are infact waiting for those comments…

ROBERT Pattinson fells “lucky” that people have all of a sudden started to find him “really sexy”.
The British actor — who plays vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilightmovie franchise — says he’s now considered attractive where he never used to be.
“I have been lucky, of course,” he said in an interview with Britain’sTelegraph newspaper. “Like, last year, if I went out, I’d have to fight to chat someone up.
“This year, I look exactly the same, which is really scruffy, and yet lots of people seem to have just changed their minds and decided I’m really sexy.
“Basically, anyone who wants to be seen as attractive should just getTwilight author Stephenie Meyer to say, ‘This guy is attractive’. Then everybody believes it.”
Pattinson, 23, recently admitted he struggled to throw a punch while filming his new movie Remember Me.
“I punched the stuntman’s face four times — as hard as I could,” Rob recalled.
“And he just grinned at me and said he didn’t feel a thing. It was frustrating.
“When I was a teenager I often got myself into precarious situations without realizing that it would end in a brawl, more than once!”

Hollywood Exclusive, by Marilyn Beck and Stacy Jenel Smith, is reporting that the ‘Water for Elephants’ casting team has started the search for Old Jacob Jankowski, the role that is being played by Robert Pattinson. They also mention that another villian in the story has yet to be cast. They report:
PAGE TO SCREEN: Wonder what “Twilight” heartthrob Robert Pattinson will look like at 93? So do the casting forces on “Water for Elephants,” who’ve been checking out old guys to play the aged version of Pattinson’s character in the big-screen adaptation of the acclaimed Sara Gruen historical novel. The story is formed by his reminiscences of dropping out of Cornell veterinary school and joining the Benzini Brothers Most Spectacular Show on Earth during the 1930s Great Depression — encountering a brutal, mentally unbalanced trainer (Christoph Waltz, fresh off his “Inglourious Basterds” Oscar win) and his beautiful, mistreated wife (Reese Witherspoon). Another key bad guy still has to be cast as well. Production’s set for May 22.

Tyler and Ally are two strangers who meet in college with more in common than they thought. The movie begins in 1991 focusing on Ally’s story as a child. The movie jumps to 2001 at Tyler’s point in life, where it seems to be an all time low. Tyler is a lost New York university student living in the city with his roommate, Aiden, played by Tate Ellington. Ally lives in the suburbs with her father, but attends New York University.
The movie is about life in general; it’s not a love story or a comedy. Tyler is played by Robert Pattinson, and Ally is played by Emile De Ravin. Pierce Brosnan plays Tyler’s dad.
The film focuses on Tyler and Ally’s lives and how their destinies fall together. The chemistry between these two characters is very real. The movie doesn’t play up romance. It plays up the reality of life. Some people may have difficulty with Pattinson playing the main character because of his Twilight character, Edward Cullen. However, Pattinsonn does a flawless job of creating a new character, and not coming across as Edward when he is supposed to be Tyler. Ravin is very real in her character. She doesn’t romanticize life and tragedies as not affecting people. Ravin brings life into her character’s reality and past experiences. The characters are created in such a way that any one can relate to them.
The movie is worth seeing if someone is looking for a story about real life and the tragedy in it.
