Sara Gruen Speaks About Water for Elephants 1 comment
Finally, switching topics briefly, I understand that filming on Water for Elephants (with Reese Witherspoon, Robert Pattinson and Christoph Waltz) has just wrapped. Are you happy with the result?
Very happy. The studio consulted me more than they contractually obligated to do, and the screenwriter did a brilliant job in compressing the novel into a two-hour film by combining a few characters and incidents in ways I couldn’t have begun to.

Weekly Round-Up of Pics and Quotes of the Day 4 comments
Here’s our weekly round-up of quotes and pics of the day. The first quote is not a Rob quote, it’s a Tyler voice-over that was in one of the first Remember Me Scripts. I decided to post it today on our Tumblr for September 11th.
“Whatever you do in life will be insignificant but it is very important that you do it because…
You can’t know…
You can’t ever really know the meaning of your life…
And you don’t need to…
Just know that your life has a meaning…
Every life has a meaning… whether it lasts one hundred years or one hundred seconds… Every life…
And every death… changes the world in its own way…
Ghandi knew this. He knew his life would mean something to someone, somewhere, somehow. And he knew with as much certainty that he could never know that meaning…
He understood that enjoying life should be of much greater concern then understanding it. And so do I.
You can’t know…
So don’t take it for granted…
But don’t take it too seriously…
Don’t postpone what you want…
Don’t leave anything misunderstood…
Make sure the people you care about know…
Make sure they know how you really feel…
Because just like that…
It could end.”

“Every life has a meaning… whether it lasts one hundred years or one hundred seconds… Every life…
And every death… changes the world in its own way…”
– Will Fetter (Remember Me Script)
We’re taking a moment today to make a special post to remember the victims of 9-11. To remember the heroes who risked their lives for others & to those who lost a loved one that day.
So this post is for you…
To the firefighters and policemen who gave their lives so others could live and to those who survived, your heroic acts will never be forgotten. Thank you. Your courage went above and beyond the call of duty that day.
To those who risked their lives to save others or died trying… Your selflessness knows no bounds. You are true heroes.
To the people of New York City, you are in our thoughts.
We will never forget…

From Robmusement:
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you wake in the morning hush
I am the swift, uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there. I do not sleep.
