“Every life has a meaning… whether it lasts one hundred years or one hundred seconds… Every life…
And every death… changes the world in its own way…”
– Will Fetter (Remember Me Script)

We’re taking a moment today to make a special post to remember the victims of 9-11. To remember the heroes who risked their lives for others & to those who lost a loved one that day.

So this post is for you…

To the firefighters and policemen who gave their lives so others could live and to those who survived, your heroic acts will never be forgotten. Thank you. Your courage went above and beyond the call of duty that day.
To those who risked their lives to save others or died trying… Your selflessness knows no bounds. You are true heroes.
To the people of New York City, you are in our thoughts.

We will never forget…

From Robmusement:
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you wake in the morning hush
I am the swift, uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there. I do not sleep.

  1. “Michael, Caroline asked me what would I say if I knew you could hear me. I said: “I do know. I love you. God, I miss you, and I forgive you.

God how much did I cried when he said that..
    😥

    • that was the best part of the movie for me.
i love what he said, and his voice with full of emotion…came from his soul..
      oh, that was just amazing.

  2. RIP to everybody that died because of the 9/11 attacks, you are always in my thoughts……

  3. Beautiful video!

  4. I´m sitting here, crying…..

the video & the beautiful poem…. I have no words….

9/11 changed the world forever & I will never forget that day….

  5. This is a beautiful remembrance. Thank you for posting it.

  6. Thank you for this. On behalf of all of us who lost family, friends, neighbors 9 years ago here in New York and New Jersey and around the country…Thank you…remember them today and every day.

  7. Here, in Spain, it was 14:46 when the first plane crashed. I was 6 years old when that happened, so I didn’t really know what was going on. My parents told me that when it happened, and the TV started showing people jumping off the buildings, or just falling, they were just to hide the images from me&my brother, who was 2 years old at that time.

Then, in 2004, Spain was attacked, too. Bombs exploded inside trains, killing lots of people instantly. I was 9 years old then, and I still didn’t realise what was going on.

It wasn’t until I saw “Remember Me” when I cried for the first time with a movie. Then, everyone who died in terrorist attacks, holocaust, Hyroshima, or other atrocities, had feelings, family, boyfriends and girlfriends.. And I think “Remember Me” made me grow up, It was then when I knew how depressing I was, never caring about what was going on everyday’s TV news.

So.. enough with the talk. I think I’ve already said what I wanted. 9-11 changed the world’s history, 9-11 changed a lot of people’s lives, like mine.

    Remembering you.

    • Amen…..that comment seriously just touched my very soul, so many peoples lived were affected in many different ways because of these events including the 7th July attacks in London. I think patriotism has never been stronger in many western countries than it is today. Thinking of everyone today 🙂

    • Es uno de los mensajes mas brillantes que he leido en mucho tiempo, gracias por él.

  8. That was beautiful, thank you*

  9. Very moving video, don’t forget. That is the outcry from the fallen on that fateful day, their families shout out “don’t forget”. It will be forever etched in my mind as previous generations had V-Day and the Attack on Pearl Harbor etched into their conciousness. Thank you, very touching tribute.

  10. Thank you for your beautiful thoughts. This day did indeed change the world. May we work together to make that world a better place, in memory and in honor of those who died and those who are still here.

  11. from Russia
    we are remember…((

  12. This post is the least we could do to honor the victims of 9-11. I’m Canadian but it touched us deeply also. New York is an 8 hour drive from where I live. Relatively close. I remember like it was yesterday. Here in North America we’ve always lived with the false feeling that we would never be attacked on our soil (as we never had been). On 9-11 that false sense of safety was shattered.

My best-friend is a police office and her boyfriend is a firefighter. They were also deeply affected by this. The entire North American firefighter/police community was affected by what happened that day.

  13. Thank you for posting…..it was a beautiful tribute to everyone who lost a loved one on that fateful day.
