My New Video: Caroline Remembering Tyler   25 comments

Here’s a new Remember Me video I just made. I’m a little bit rusty so I haven’t gotten my full mojo back, hope you guys like it. It’s a video of Caroline remembering Tyler.

I wanted to use more clips from the movie but unfortunantly when I put my Remember Me DVD on my computer it wasn’t in .wmv format.

Music is Gabriel by Lamb

Let me know what you think 🙂

  5. TEARS… first thing in the morning. so beautiful.
The relationship between Caroline and Tyler is so moving, even if you don’t know the story of the movie, this video brings home the love that siblings can have for one another.
And the need to push away all the drama of life and be there for your sister or your brother.

Such love and loyalty to the other, to get through the struggles of growing up.

I think maybe that is why this movie touches me so much. It’s not the dangling backdrop, not just Tyler’s struggles, but the sincere love he has for his sister, and hers for him.

I spent hours after the movie thinking about Caroline, and how she had to deal with the loss. Having her father spend more time with her is a start, but i really had to wonder how she handled the loss.

What will she be like when she nears 22? How will all this tragedy in her life shape her?

And then i think about how important my relationship with my big brother was, and how it had drifted when we went off to do our own thing. It makes you reflect. Want to reconnect.

Sigh… I could go on forever.

Just beautiful, dearest. I love the tears. Reminds me I’m alive, and thankful for the love in my life.

    thanks for sharing this.

    MWAH!

  12. Amazing!

  13. Beautiful!

  14. Beautiful video…I loved the relationship between Caroline and Tyler and this video portrays it perfectly.

  15. Got to thinking: Tyler was about 17 when Michael turned 22, so Caroline would have been 5. So much for her to try to handle. I couldn’t help but wonder if she remembered Michael as more than a photograph, and how long before she would begin to forget the curve of Tyler’s smile and the exact color of his hair.
Those we love live on in our hearts, long after we forget the tiny details.
This video is another beautiful piece of art inspired by this wonderful film. Thank you for making it.

  16. well done FP! another great video *claps hands*

  17. I’ve only now had the privacy and quiet to be able to watch this – wow – so beautiful, so heartbreaking. How do you capture emotion and tell a story so powerfully in these vignettes?

It amazes me. In 4 minutes you do what takes most people 2 hours to do.

  18. That was a great video!!! Thanks for sharing

  19. Simply beautiful. I, too, will always associate you with “Remember Me” as you did everything in your power to promote this movie and let everyone know how special it is.
