Hollywood Life Exclusive:
“If you were ready to hand Robert Pattinson an Oscar for his work in the Twilight saga, just wait until you get a load of him in 2012′s Cosmopolis! HollywoodLife.com chatted with director David Cronenberg, who said Rob won’t be able to reveal his full scope as an actor until he’s left Edward Cullen behind. “It sort of pleases me to work with actors, like Rob, who have that potential, but haven’t had the chance to realize that yet and show it,” he told us Oct. 19 at the LA premiere of A Dangerous Method.
.
“I know [Rob’s] big success is Twilight, but as you know Viggo Mortensen‘s big success was Lord of the Rings, but it didn’t show him at his most profound as an actor,” David continued.
He also compared Rob to Keira Knightley, who stars in A Dangerous Method:
.
“I feel that … Keira Knightley is really quite undervalued and underestimated as an actress,” he said. “I think in A Dangerous Mind she proves she is te superb level of actress she actually is. I’ve worked with some of the best, and she is up there; I feel the same way about Robert Pattinson.”

Our Water for Elephants DVD Review Leave a comment
Thanks to Fox Entertainment we were lucky to get a screening copy of the Water for Elephants DVD. Here is our DVD review:
Based on the New York Times best-selling novel penned by Sara Gruen, Water for Elephants is set during the Great Depression of the 1930s. The movie plunges you into an era where travelling circuses and big tops were all the rage. Jacob Jankowski (Pattinson,) a veterinary student at Cornell, learns rapidly how life can change with the blink of an eye when his parents die in an accident. Alone with nowhere to go and no money Jacob jumps on a train, which turns out to be owned by the Benzini Brothers, a travelling circus. First seen as an intruder by the owner of the circus, August (cleverly played by Christoph Waltz,) his veterinary skills quickly come in handy and help him find his own place in the circus. When Jacob meets August’s wife Marlena (played by Reese Witherspoon,) he falls under her charm and soon has to deal with the furious temper of a crazed husband.
Ladies and gentleman prepare to be wooed; this is Robert Pattinson like you’ve never seen him before. From laughter to extreme frustration, Pattinson displays a wide array of emotions, showing his worth as an actor. Witherspoon and Waltz also show their amazing Oscar winning capabilities in this movie. As a secondary character, Hal Holbrook plays the part of an older Jacob Jankowski marvellously well. In the fashion of great Hollywood love stories, the transition between “old Jacob” and “young Jacob” is cleverly played.
Water for Elephants is beautifully shot. Francis Lawrence manages to bring an entire era to life on the silver screen. You’ll go through a roller-coaster of emotions, from laughter to tears. For fans of the book, you will definitely not be disappointed, the screenplay written by Richard LaGravenese, stays true to the book.
Definitely a must see! Water for Elephants is simply the most spectacular show on earth…
The Water for Elephants DVD is a must have for any Rob fan.

*VIDEO* Matt Smith (Dr.Who): ‘It must tricky being Robert Pattinson”
Dr. Who star Matt Smith took home the award for Best Science Fiction Actor at the Scream Awards, and I was enough lucky to chat with him twice through out the night, on the red carpet and backstage after his win. How do I say this without sounding like a creepy, fangirl weirdo: HE IS THE NICEST MAN ALIVE. Seriously, he was goofy and sweet and genuinely humble and he did not laugh at my usage of the term Brit Pack. The guy is a gem. He’s also an incredibly talented actor who’s destined for big screen greatness. Mark my words.
Matt mentioned that he had been videotaping parts of the show to send to his girlfriend, model Daisy Lowe (awww), and we got on the topic of celebrity couples (he doesn’t think they are one) and the unwanted fame that goes along with being part of an A-List duo. He touched on the challenges Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart face and echoed their same sentiments about celebrity and fame (they’re just not that into it). Watch his comments above. Oh how we wish we could hook these guys up on a friend date. They could hide in a pub and chain smoke and drink Heinekens and swap tips on avoiding the paparazzi.
