Always getting praised on his appearance, even George Clooney admits Robert Pattinson is good looking!
The âUp in the Airâ star isnât afraid to admit heâs glad that he doesnât have to duel over movie roles with the king of âTwilight.â
âThank God I donât have to compete with Rob,â Clooney said. âHeâs young and handsome and talented.â
Meanwhile, the 23-year-old said being English means not having to look good.
âI just wanted to make an American film, and I wanted to be relatively good in it,â he said. âI have never pushed to do anything. As soon as you start going to the gym every day and try to look like a movie star, youâre going down a worrisome track. Being an English guy you get a lot more breaks. Youâre allowed to look a little worse. Itâs that thing about English teeth. Although Canadian teeth are pretty bad as well!â
But with quick fame, it isnât always easy to handle. âIt worries me, because the whole Twilight thing keeps getting bigger and bigger, and now itâs so big that even my own ego canât deal with it. A certain amount of success you can mentally deal with, but thereâs a point where you think, âJesus Christ, what is this? Iâm not that great!â â

Thereâs been speculation for weeks about whether âTwilightâ stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart would be attending the Golden Globes this Sunday.
Hereâs what weâve found out.
Pattinson and Stewart âare not attending the Globes,â an organizer tells Gossip Cop.
Weâve also spoken with sources at Summit, who confirm that Pattinson and Stewart will NOT be at the studioâs after party. Sources at NBC, which is broadcasting the awards, also added that they had no knowledge of the two attending.
As reported elsewhere, âTwilightâ actor Taylor Lautner will be at the event.
Little Ashes Is Nominated For A GLAAD Award 2 comments
Robert Pattinson’s film, “Little Ashes,” in which he plays Salvador Dali and appears nude with the Spanish actor who plays Frederico Garcia Lorca, is nominated for a GLAAD award!
The GLAAD Media Awards ceremonies will be held in New York on March 13, 2010 at the Marriott Marquis; in Los Angeles on April 17 at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza; and in San Francisco on June 5 at The Westin St. Francis.
