The AFCA Film Awards will be announced at the awards ceremony on February 7th at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) in Melbourne
Robert Pattinson’s fans stay on true form as they publicly vote him the winner of the 2013 Richard Attenborough Film Award for British Performer of the Year as Edward Cullen in the world-wide box office hit The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part Two. Robert is no stranger to the RAFTA as he also won this award last year for his performance in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part One. The award is the only of the RAFA’s to be voted for by the general public is a great testament to the commitment and loyalty of both Twihards and Robert Pattinson fans all round the UK.
Rob beat out some great competition this year from the likes of Christian Bale: The Dark Knight Rises, Emily Blunt: The Five Year Engagement, Daniel Craig: Skyfall, Judi Dench: Skyfall, Colin Firth: Gambit, Andrew Garfield: The Amazing Spider-Man, Keira Knightley: Anna Karenina, Emma Watson: The Perks Of Being A Wallflower and Rachel Weisz: The Bourne Legacy.
Robert Pattinson will be attending Elle Magazine’s 19th Annual Women in Hollywood Gala tonight at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills. It is reported he’ll be presenting an award to his Bel Ami costar Uma Thurman.
Also being honored are Cate Blanchett, Elle Fanning, Emma Watson, Kristen Wiig, Octavia Spencer, Sarah Jessica Parker, Shirley MacLaine and Susan Sarandon.
The list of attendees include celebs like Emma Stone, Lea Michele, Melissa McCarthy, Naya Rivera, Nina Dobrev, Ellie Kemper, Erika Christensen, Nicole Richie, Rachel Zoe, Viola Davis, Sarah Paulson and so many more.
Rob wasn’t there (he’s in Toronto for the ‘Cosmopolis Canadian Premiere), but he and Kristen won ‘Best Kiss’ at the MTV Movie Awards.
