De-tagged HQ Pic of Robert Pattinson on the Cover of GQ   12 comments

We’ve been asked to de-tag this HQ pic of Robert Pattinson on the cover of GQ as it has never been released in HQ before. So here it is. I did the easy part and Maria did the hair and harder stuff. I also added a black & white version. I have to say that Maria totally rocks at de-tagging pics. Simply amazing. Enjoy!

Rob is one of GQ's "The 50 Most Stylish Leading Men of the Past Half Century"   Leave a comment

Robert Pattinson

Shrieking, ululating, OMG-ing teen girls aren’t usually the best arbiters of men’s style. (See: Cassidy, David; Mark, Marky; Boys, Backstreet.) So give the nearest tween a high five for freaking out over Robert Pattinson, the British sensation who stars in gossip columns, gossip sites, and oh yeah, a little billiondollar franchise called Twilight. Young Rob’s probably got the best head of hair since James Dean, and he lets it do the talking. He also lets it fly: no pompadour, no side part…As far as we can tell, he just runs his hands through it every five minutes. And the clothes? What clothes? A pair of jeans, a T-shirt, an unbuttoned and untucked plaid shirt…That’s it. He dresses his age (23); he dresses to his strengths; he dresses so you don’t give a damn about how he’s dressed.—WILL WELCH

GQ mentions Robert Pattinson as a Fashion Icon   3 comments

The Boys’ Club

Lauren Milligan

24 February 2010

“He’s today’s ultimate male fashion icon,” the GQ.COM team says.

Sir Philip Green, perhaps unsurprisingly, tops the list for his power and reach followed by Sir Harold Tillman and Selfridges ceo Paul Kelly. Designers Sir Paul Smith, Christopher Bailey and John Galliano also make the top 10, but perhaps more unexpected is the inclusion of Robert Pattison inside the top 5.

AS IT celebrates the launch of its new site (which went live yesterday – take a look), GQ.COM has announced its list of the most important men in British fashion – and the top 100 have been judged on more than just their financial muscle. As well as business acumen, the team has also appraised their creativity and social connections, coming up with a list with some likely suspects – and some more surprising choices.
