The vampire, that’s all past now. Around Christmas though, the last long-completed “Twilight” movie will hit the cinema, however, the British Robert Pattinson, 26, doesn’t play a bloodsucker anymore. In “Cosmopolis” he’s a barracuda who lets himself chauffeur in a stretched limo around Manhattan. The movie, based on the novel by Don DeLillo, is directed by the master director David Cronenberg. Therewith Pattinson has definitely arrived in the cinema of the big ones. Or not? He shows up for the interview on deck of a luxury hotel in Cannes with a pink lollipop.
Does it taste good, Mr Pattinson?
Oh I like these. Does it bother you when I suck?

Robert Pattinson’s Interview in ‘Tagesanzeiger’ – Switzerland 2 comments

Translation via Robsteners
What’s next after Twilight? In “Water For Elephants” the British actor Robert Pattinson expands his dreamboy-image. An encounter. Robert Pattinson puts his hands – he never really knows what to do with those – in his pockets and leans his upper body forward as if he braces himself against the wind. The body language says it all. The 24-year-old actor has been in the eye of the hurricane since the first “Twilight” movie (2008), that he’s only partly able to relate to. He doesn’t want to seem ungrateful, but neither he has made peace with the hype yet: “I don’t know if you can ever make peace with something like that. At the beginning I had no idea that I have to run along to keep on working. And that’s what I’m constantly doing right now, so I’m not too concerned about it.”

Water For Elephants Interview in Swiss Marionnaud Magazine Leave a comment
Interview with Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon, brought in Marionnaud Magazine in Switzerland
Note that this interview is similar to an Argentinian interview brought in Miradas magazine, but has some difference probably due to translation.
“Water For Elephants” tells from the magical love which changes two people despite every objection and holds a lifetime. In the sophisticated screen adaption of Sara Gruen’s same-named bestseller, a past era becomes vivid again and a circus to a loction of dramatic incidents.
