Corbijn is very precise when it comes to the details. In the early days of filming I realized that Rob had some strange tics. I asked around if those were his. Rob appeals to everyone because there are so many sides to this man. For Dior he’s completely sexy, in and interview he can be charming and funny. He unpretentious, relatable, he has no problem laughing at himself, and he does all of this in a completely natural way. He takes you in with his honest approach to everything, and that’s so incredibly attractive. You can’t help but love Rob.

I liked the comment by Mastronardi and also the first one at the top by Lin. I am drawn to them. Other than that I don’t like his exasperated comments some time about his Twilight fans.
I also saw the Rover on DVD the other day. I didn’t like it, I’m afraid. I respect the fact that he followed his dream to make this movie, but the flick itself left me cold. Good performances by Guy Pearce and Robert, but bleak images and not much of a story. Maybe it’s a movie for men? Weird when you think that his fan base is probably women.

There are many handsome men. What was endearing in Twilight was the character he played. To a woman, that kind of love is what makes a man attractive. Now, it is hard to tell the man from the role or the marketing hype. He has a great smile and presence. It is hard to know what to say about his current relationship given the media, but for a while, his on screen relationship was my idealized man. I can only wish him privacy and happiness.lin
