The actor was in the running for the role as vampire Edward Cullen but was pipped to the post by R-Patz. Fernandez has now landed himself a role in upcoming blockbuster Red Riding Hood and says he’s thankful that it is 24-year-old Pattinson and not him who is trailed around by screaming fans.
‘It makes me happy that I didn’t do it,’ he said. ‘How can you want that for yourself? How can you wish that on anybody? I think Pattinson handled it really well – he seems like a neat kid, interesting and kind of strange but I wasn’t in the right mind to take any of that. I wasn’t mentally prepared to have any sort of success in that way. Even with this tiny, tiny morsel of fame I’m experiencing now I still feel uncomfortable.’

LADY GAGA AND ROBERT PATTINSON COMIC BOOKS HIT STORES THIS WEEK.
They are two of the most recognizable celebrities today, Twilight actor Robert Pattinson and music sensation Lady Gaga. And now the latest biography comic released by publisher Bluewater Productions.
Fame: Lady Gaga and Fame: Robert Pattinson will hit comic shops across the country on June 9. Retailing each for $3.99, also will be available online at Amazon.com.
The comic gives fans of both celebrities a chance to trace their favorite stars’ rise from obscurity to fame.
Take Pattinson. Few of the actor’s fans today realize that long before he was vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight movies, Pattinson was an unknown stage actor in England. In fact, his first performance came in Tess of the D’Urbervilles at London’s Barnes Theater.
Lady Gaga had a similar career path. She got her start singing in bars and nightclubs before becoming an international celebrity.
Lady Gaga is to kick off a new comic book series focusing on the lives of pop culture icons.
American publisher Bluewater Productions announced the launch of the new series, to be called Fame.
The first issue, featuring the life story of the US singer, will be out in time for Free Comic Book Day on May 5.
Recently, pop culture artist Brian Einersen announced an entirely separate comic called Lady Saga, inspired by the pop diva and featuring fictional adventures in the world of fashion.
Future issues of Bluewater’s Fame series will focus on such stars as Robert Pattinson, 50 Cent, David Beckham and Taylor Swift.
Bluewater president Darren G. Davis said: “Over the past year we saw an opportunity to broaden the scope of who reads comics.

Ashley Greene gave an exclusive interview to Saturday Night Magazine in which she speaks about New Moon and the craze surrounding Robert Pattinson. I’m posting the parts pertaining to Rob but you can read the rest of the article here.
Fast forward a couple years, and Twilight mania has swept the nation in cinematic form, allowing fans to finally assign faces to their beloved Edward Cullen and Bella Swan. Pandemonium continues to gain steam as fans young and old indulge their thirst for blood and romance and the excitement will surely be at an alltime high with the latest installment of the series, New Moon, set for release this November. But while veteran heartthrobs Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have been at the forefront of the Twilight craze, stars like Ashley Greene, better known as the psychic, pixie-like vampire Alice Cullen in the film series, are still adapting to newfound fame.
Nope, sorry couldn’t help not posting these pics lol.
On a more serious note Anna gave an interview toMTV and here’s what she had to say:
As the “Twilight” film franchise has shifted from under-the-radar property to out-of-this-world media and entertainment spectacle, actress Anna Kendrick has quietly continued to play the small role of Jessica Stanley, one of Bella Swan’s high school classmates. The 24-year-old has had a front-row seat as co-stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have become paparazzi targets whose every sneeze becomes tabloid-news fodder. After seeing what those two have endured, Kendrick is thankful for the relative obscurity of her part in the vampire saga.
