6. OK.. I will be the hated one here probably, but.. I was there yesterday and in the small group I was standing with, we cautioned them, if you don’t scream you have a better chance he will at least look up and smile. One of his body guards told the groups of fans that more than once.

   You can’t control everyone, but when he came out of the make-up trailer and walked back to his dressing trailer the group at our end was quiet, didn’t scream, didn’t call out his name, and as he reached the door to the trailer BAM, he looked up, smiled at us quickly, and then ducked behind the door.

   He did the same thing when he was leaving for the day, over the top of the car, he looked up across the street and smiled, we again cautioned the group not to scream.

   That smile, for just two seconds.. totally worth it. Seriously worth it!

   Now I don’t profess to know the man, though I would love the chance to get to know him, but as a “student of expressions” I would say that, that smile, was a genuine smile of appreciation. A smile that reaches the eyes, even for a second, is worth more than anything in the world.. from anyone.

   He’s almost done there in New York, and I don’t think he has really minded being there, nor do I believe the fans are really bothering him. I think he is in his own head so much, in his role, in his job… that he blocks a lot out, and the PA’s and other staff keep it quiet when they are shooting. The sad shots of him that you see… they are scenes, this story can be intense.

   We all remember being young and enthusiastic.. some of you are still closer to being young than others : )…. and young girls can be loud and downright scary…. they haven’t developed that “filter” yet…I guess I understand the screaming… and I guess what I am trying to say, through this really long and annoying post is that I think Rob is fine… I think that he knows what to expect now… The screaming is not going on while he is filming, it is during silly things like getting in and out of his car and walking trailer to trailer, and when he is in his trailer and out of site.. it’s quiet, and he is able to concentrate, and do what he needs to do to prepare, and when he comes out of the trailer and heads to set I think his facial expressions are a reflection of the scene he is shooting, and not the fans who may or may not be screaming. The man has quickly become a professional, and he’s very very good at his job.

   I do believe the PAPS can be an annoyance to him.. they can be pushy and rude on set.. Not all, but a few.. they are a necessary evil for the most part.. we wouldn’t have the pictures we see on the net if not for them. I wish after the work is done, they would leave him alone.. I don’t need pictures of him out with his friends and family, having dinner or whatever he chooses to do. But there is big money in it. You hear the term “THE SHOT” a lot.. It’s a sad side to the life Rob now has..

   OK.. well that’s it.. sorry to have gone on.. I loved that I had a chance to see him, in person. That smile, (even if it wasn’t just for me) is something I will never forget… it kind of gets you like that : )

   • I beg to differ. Rob has looked unhappy ever since he’s been in New York and when ppl refer to him being in character I’m sorry but I just don’t believe it. Why? Because if you remember him filming NM in Italy he was in character then as well and on the pics taken off set he is smiling alot. This is not the case in NYC.

     I’ve also spoken to many people who have been on set or seen Rob and they all say the same thing… that he looks very unhappy right now.

     • I meant no offense and, having read the script, I draw most of my conclusions from it. I could be totally off base, possibly I am.. but as none of us really knows him.. it’s all opinion.

       If I am totally off base, and he is miserable.. I’m sorry for any part, I as a fan visiting the set, may have played in that unhappiness and I truly hope that when shooting is over for this movie, he will find his happiness again possibly while he shoots Eclipse, because he should find joy in his work…

       I hope I’m not totally off base though.. it would be sad to think he is as miserable as people believe.. he just doesn’t seem like that kind of a person to me… but as I said. .I don’t know him so…

       Again my apologies if I have offended anyone.. I do not know the man, I don’t pretend to know him or how he is feeling.. my post was just comment, opposing yes, but just comment.

       • Sorry he does not seem to be happy. If it is the stress of the movie it is understandable. But by all accounts there is no stress on the set. He has some great co-stars in Pierce, Lena Olin, Chris Cooper, all seasoned veterans. And Emilie De Ravin and he seem to get along just fine. I don’t see her being anything but nice to Rob in pictures and videos and contrary to the tabloid fairy tales of an affair which if true must mean Rob is sleeping with all of his female leads, Emilie and he may be actually having a friend ship.
         So why is he stressed. It is so sad that it is because of stupid crazy bitches like this idiot who called him an asshole. Yeah right bitch. Things started going down hill the time those four bitches jumped on him and physically assaulted him just two days after filming began. And they were not 12 or 13 or 15 year olds. But grown bitches in their early 20s who should know better. I can understand if young twihards scream, but people who are 18 and over who scream like idiots need to know better. And no I do not excuse their behavior at all. I know of two people who went and got pictures. But they were respectful. And those are real fans. These I call them crazies. Who need to seriously learn how to behave with a stranger, celebrity or not. What part of not touching someone you do not know or screaming at the top of your lungs do these people not understand ? Fans doing this is unacceptable. Gives all fans a bad name because of crazies like these.
