Is Interest in the Twilight Saga fading?

Since we’ve heard yesterday that Breaking Dawn Part II won’t be released until November 18, 2012 we’ve been getting a lot of comments on twitter and on Facebook that people are losing interest in the Twilight Saga. From Twilight sites to regular tweeps. That being said, people are not saying they’re losing interest in Robert Pattinson, just that they now want to see him in other roles.

To be perfectly honest I will go see Breaking Dawn but I’m more anxious for Bel Ami and Water for Elephants than for Breaking Dawn. But it’s different for all of us on the site. I know Sparks and Gabby are still really interested in the saga (see we can all have different opinions and get along ;))

So let’s discuss, are you over the Twilight Saga?

We’ll tally the results as we did for the “Which Twilight Edward is Your Favorite poll”

*Please no bashing in the comments, everyone is entitled to their own opinion whether you agree with what they think or not*

ETA: PLEASE Keep the relationship stuff out of it. We try very hard to keep ToR neutral to make it a fun place for every one to be.

  1. Yes. I’m still going to see the final 2 movies but I lost my interest. The only reason I want to see them is because Rob and Jackson are in them. Nothing more.

    • Aye, ditto on that.

    • No, I love the saga and will never lose interest! I love all of the characters, and the magical world that Stephenie created…

    • same here. I’ll go see the first part to see the honeymoon, but after that, I am done with the saga. I was not a fan of the final book. I felt it to be too Fanfiction for my taste, but for Rob, Taylor, and Jackson, I’ll see the first part. After that, I’ll be either renting the second or waiting for it to be on television.

I can’t wait for Water for Elephants and Bel Ami. I’m so excited to see Rob in different roles as I am for Taylor. I can’t wait to see what becomes of all of them.

  2. no that will never happen !!!

  3. NO!
First and foremost, I’m a Twilight fan before a Rob fan, so I for one am obviously planning to never to lose interest.

  4. absolutely. I am more interested in Rob’s other projects now.

  5. I’ve started reading Twilight thanks to Rob, so my interest is for Rob. Until he’ll be in the movies I’m still going to see them. I’ll always love Edward and Bella story ❤

    • Ditto! I will always be in love with Edward & Bella’s relationship. It makes me want to read Twilight over & over and dwell on their meeting! Then fast-forwarding to Eclipse & their engagement! Lol. 🙂

      Karla'sRobsessed's avatar Karla'sRobsessed
      • me too 🙂 and Rob & Kristen are great showing us the love story taking life on screen, so I can’t wait but I’m even more excited for other Rob’s projects

  6. No. I will never lose interest. I was drawn to the love story first. Then Rob entered the picture and made it even more incredible. I love the Twilight Saga and will always be a fan.

    • Amen! I was drawn to the lover story from the very beginning and is the reason why I kept reading past the first book in the first place! 😀

      Karla'sRobsessed's avatar Karla'sRobsessed
    • me too … i’ll never ever lose interest in the saga
’cause it is such an amazing love story kristen and Rob made it even better

  7. it is a very long wait but i will never lose interest in twilight…and i am also looking forward to Bel ami & Water for elephants, but not more then Breaking dawn but my interest is the same 🙂 Rob just looks so much more Hot in WFE LOL..

  8. Yes totally, I’m tired of all the Twilight Fail and dramas. I’m in love with the books and in the characters of Edward and Bella. I hate all the hysteria and the business around it.

  9. I’m totally Robsessed and I only watch the Twilight movies, because Rob is in them.
I prefer to see Rob in movies like Little Ashes, Remember Me, Bel Ami and Water for Elephants.

  10. I honestly never had much interest in the saga, I’m more a Rob fan and if I saw it was because he acts. Can´t wait for end!

  11. i have read the books before they even talked about filming them
so i see that in a bit different point of view

and there are other movies with Robert Pattinson

its not like he only is to see in the twilight movies

so no i dont loose interest in twilight

  12. Yes I am still interested in twilight saga and can’t wait for BD I can’t wait to see the wedding and vamp Bella and finale showdown with the Volutri.
I also want to see WFE and Bel Ami

  13. yes i’m totally losing intersting on it…i mean we already know how it end and we still have to wait 2 year to see it as a movie..the only reason i’m still here its ’cause i really like most of the actors but i’m not as suck in it as i was at the begining…

    • Well, the same situation goes for Harry Potter. Those who’ve read all 7 books know what’s going to happen, but its always epic & different seeing the books/your imagination come to life! 🙂

I understand how disappointed you must feel with the way the last 3 films turned out.

      Karla'sRobsessed's avatar Karla'sRobsessed
  14. Yep losing my interest… completely.
Sure I’m gonna see them, but I hate the fact that it’s getting ‘milked’
I wanna see Rob grow in other parts – movies (uhm sounded kinda dirtay lol)

  15. tbh, no. But I’m going to assume I’m in a small minority of uberfans.

I am excited to see where Rob’s career goes, and will continue to support him. Y’know…cuz he’s hot and all.

    Oh yeah, and talented…and hot.

  16. i am definitely losing interest in the Twilight movies. i have yet to be satisfied by them, and i am doutful that BD will be any different. but i love the books and the cast of the Saga, and that will never change.

  17. i really hope there is a better answer than “NO” .. i thought about this question, what i really know is that i’ve fallen in love with twilight after seeing Edward, and fall for it even more realizing what kind of person Robert Pattinson is .. and then i realized, it’s not ROb only whom i love, like what bella said in Breaking Dawn, it was like her heart doubled and is now capable of loving both edward and the baby .. and i guess, i can compare that to my love with Rob and The Twilight Saga itself, i guess i’ll never lose interest .. ?

  18. well~ to be honest, although i have heard many people commented is a mess, but i still hope the book is not much worse than they have said…
and i will always love the twilight saga !

like whst you say, i am also feel anxious about Bel Ami and WTE !!!

  19. I’m a fan of Twilight, but seriously ? This is taking way to long. I was already losing my interest when Eclipse came out. I really like the movies, don’t get me wrong. But the hype’s over for me.
And I can’t wait for Bel Ami and Water for elephants, they both sound promising 😉

    • What’s the rush? I feel that the films should’ve been filmed at a slower pace versus the way they came out back-to-back. Waiting allows us to embrace what we really loved about the books and them becoming films.

      Karla'sRobsessed's avatar Karla'sRobsessed
  20. No! Never! While I’m a true Rob fan and therefore interested in everything he does, Twilight was my first love! I still read the books over and over and just watched Twilight and New Moon the other day. I am thoroughly excited for all of Rob up and coming projects!

  21. No I am not losing interest in the saga. But that’s because I read the books before I saw the movies. I wasn’t even a Rob fan before that (I saw him HP and I hated him, because I hated Cedric in that movie lol)
My friends even had to convince me to read the books and watch the movies, took them like a year before I caved.

But I do think that I won’t be that excited for BD2. the same happened with HP. I was a huge fan, really excited. But when the Half Blood Prince came out I wasn’t that excited anymore.

  22. totally losing it. or already lost to the greater part… my twilight story started with Rob aka Edward, but I was captivated with the first movie so much that I read the whole series … three times each book , to be clear) but to tell the truth , starting with New Moon – saga movies started disappointing me… even more, actors looked like they are dead bored playing these characters… eclipse was a bit better… but far from a masterpiece… I expected these series to become better with every new movie but it’s just appears to be the other way around… I am even a bit afraid to see what will they make of Breaking dawn with all the PG 13 stuff and all the super creepy scenes that are in it… but I will watch … definitely, it’s like a must-do watching it on this stage of robsession:) saga is really not that deeply philosophical and thought-provoking to keep you effected for too long… in about three month my twilight obsession evaporated and I started finding many of the stuff in it really funny and ridiculous… and I so wish Rob would finally took off his Edward trademark in the eyes of public… I want to see him playing deeper characters, more adult ones, more complex and serious.
P.S. sorry for such a long opinion)))

    • I agree with this. I’m losing interest already so I don’t doubt I’ll be over it by next year. While Eclipse was good, the magic isn’t there anymore imo, the bigger the budgets get, the more glitz they throw in, the more content they pack in 2 hours time, the more connection is lost with the actors. While I started out being a Twilight fan over a Rob fan in the beginning, it’s quite the opposite now. And as @Francesca was saying above I’m also over the drama and the business of it. While some cast members I’ve grown to really like, Rob being the main one as I knew next to nothing about him in the beginning, there are others I’ve grown to really not like. So the ones I do like, I’d like to see what they can do with their careers outside of the franchise as well. As far as Rob’s career goes, I want to see him go far, reach his potential and get out of this Edward stereotype and show the doubters he is talented and more than just a PR marketing machine for Scummit. There are a few of his Twi cast members I wouldn’t mind seeing him work with again but the other members of the Trifecta are not it.

      • yes yes yes! I agree completely on everything you have said 🙂 I also think my expectations were obviously way too high for eclipse, I was disappointed, but my fault for expecting too much lol

  23. Yeah I think Twilight is starting to fade for me. I’m definitely a Rob fan more than a Twilight fan, I still think the books are great but the movies just don’t do it for me. And the only reason I continue to watch them is purely for Rob. They continue to produce low quality movies with such a high budget. Seriously, where is all the money going? The Twilight fans need to increase their standards. I’m over it now and I honestly don’t really care about BD. Now the fact that we have to wait two more years till it’s over was the final straw for me. I just feel sorry for Rob, he’s in this situation where he is obligated now. It is obvious he is way above the Twilight Saga now. Scummit is just milking him and it’s getting ridiculous.

  24. Yes, have lost a lot of interest in Twilight. But, will continue to support the movies because of Rob and cast. Very disappointed they’re making 2 movies out of BD.

  27. I’m losing my intrest for the movies, yes. Not in Rob for that sake, I just want to see him ín other films like WFE and Bel Ami. I haven’t lost intrest in kristen either. The whole saga kinda lost their “magic” when I heard that it’s over 2 years left til it’s over. Rob will be 26 years. And he’s going to promot a film where he’s suppose to be 17?
Well I’m still gonna see the movies and I’ll probably love them, and the intrest will probably come back more, closer to the ending. But now, interest is weak.

  28. Not so much loosing interest but wasnt that impressed with the book, my problem is that whatever is going on with Rob and Kris, Summit seem to have some kind of hold over them, is that going to continue until BD part 2 is released, will they ever be free to outwardly date each other or anybody else for that matter. Bet they feel like they have sold their souls to Summit.

  29. No.. I’m Not Losing Interest In The Twilight Saga. I Seen ECLIPSE in The Theater 18 Times, Last Time Was This Past Friday July 30. My Favorite Character Is Edward Cullen. He is The One That Got Me Hook up. He Is A Great Actor. I’m Robert Pattinson Fan 100%. I Seen Almost Everything He Have Done.Vanity Fair,Harry Potter and The Goblet Of Fire,The Haunted Airman,How To be,Twilight,Little Ashes,The Twilight saga New moon, Remember Me, The Twilight Saga Eclipse. And I Can’t Wait For His Up coming Project’s.. Bel Ami- Water for Elephants, And The Twilight saga Breaking Dawn 1 and 2.Robert Pattinson Is Part Of My Life..I love You ROB Your Are My Guardian Angel…..God Bless You…. And PS I Order The Bad Mother Handbook Waiting For The Dvd To Come Out…

  30. TBH , when I first heard about it , and that was in december 2009 .. I already had twilight and new moon done ..ya know what i’m saying?

I saw them for the first time one after another without interruption so that’s why I was immediately IN LOVE with ’em and the story and the characters and all. And in that moment , I knew i won’t give up to this addiction. NEVER! EVER!

Then I made a twitter and saw that others were just like me .: a twihard. and from there , i learned many other things about the 2 main characters …which made me more interested in the twilight mania and the other projects of them.

Yes , I’ll support Robert and Kristen and the rest of the cast no matter what from now on. I can’t wait to see Breaking Dawn , but I also want to see Welcome to the Riley’s , On The Road , Water for Elephants , Bel Ami and Robsten’s next projects. But that doesn’t mean I won’t be a twihard after all this franchise will be over. NO. I won’t forget anything about it. Because it somehow changed my life. And even if I won’t be able to see [at least a part of] the cast in person , because I’m from ROMANIA 😦 , I’ll still be a twihard till I die. Because before I was a Robsten fan , I was a Twilight one and I sill am one.

So NO!!! I’m NOT LOOSING my INTEREST and I will NEVER do it. But at the same time , I will never stop supporting the entire cast!

  31. i’m gonna see the last two but only for Robsten

  32. nope and never !!

  33. Not even close. I think I’m getting more into it than I was before. ❤

  34. I’m interestin in WFE and Bel-Ami and onlt then The Twilight Saga.

  35. I still love twilight, but I’m definitely not as interested in the movies as I was when they started coming out. I loved Twilight because I think Catherine Hardwick totally “got” the book, but New Moon and Eclipse felt like soul-less big-budget money making ventures to me….

  36. Yeah, I’m starting to lose interest in Twilight Saga movies.

I think this is b/c I know what is going to happen. With the other movies we all wondered if certain parts were going to be in it or not, and how it would look overall. But w/BD, b/c it’s 2 movies, it seems like everything is going to be included in the 2 movies.

I think, overall, it’s also b/c BD is, in general terms, the least favorite out of all of the books.

Also, I am more excited for WFE than anything else with Rob. I love that book, and all the set pics have helped to spark TONS of interest among the masses of Rob fans.

Bel Ami seems the most mysterious, but I think that’s probably just b/c it’s a very different role than WFE and BD. I’m excited to see it. I tend to think of it along the lines of Little Ashes, and I liked that so I think that I’ll like BA.

I will, always, support Rob and Kristen and the rest of cast in their other endeavors and continue to go see all of their movies, so I most definitely will see both BDs!

But yeah, out of the others, the BDs are lower on my list of interest.

  37. twilight will always hold a special place in my heart although im looking really foward to seein bel ami ans WFE . before seeing twilight i was in a church cult that didnt allow ppl 2 see it after my sis n law had me watch it i left the cult (i had discovered what they were tellin me was a lie). i guess u could say id still be there if it hadnt have been for twilight lol x

  38. I would never lose interest in the twilight saga. Im over interested according to my mum! And im robsessed so i support rob with whatever he does 🙂

  39. I’m not losing interest for the Twilight Saga.
Of course the interest fades a little bit between Twilights and we’ll have to wait a year or so for Breaking Dawn I. But that doesn’t mean I’m losing interest… i’m just not so obsessed with it as i was in the beginning (it’s balanced now).
I’m fan of Rob since Harry Potter and I watched all his movies, so YES i do want to see him in other projects and i’m super excited and anxious to see him in Bel Ami and Water For Elephants.

  40. As Twi-Hards, Obsessors of Edward/Rob or Jacob/Taylor, etc., we should never really be over the saga. There is some reason or another that won us over in the beginning. Whether it be something along the lines of Rob, Kristen, or Taylor casted for the leading roles or if it was just the excitement to see the books come to life. Heck, I have Robert Pattinson’s autograph tattooed on my left forearm. Whether I’ve lost interest or not, his autograph will forever and a day be branded on my skin! And long after the saga is complete, I look forward to the future roles of the character’s that made these books come to life.

However, I do believe that the saga should have been filmed over a slower, longer period of time versus the way it turned out. The fact that the saga was filmed so quickly, one after the other has disabled us from appreciating the reasons why we fell in love with the saga in the first place. As in, the BOOKS WERE EPIC! Catherine Hardwicke may have left a lot out in Twilight, but with her visions came a passion that could never be reflected off of the other directors. Her refusal to direct any of the other films may have been due to a lack of time, but we can only dream of what she would’ve reproduced on the big screen. It felt as if Summit was in some sort of rush and I will say it, money hungry! The last 2 movies (New Moon & Eclipse) being filmed back-to-back, with a November and June release date left some fans disappointed with the outcome. Even leaving some to say that books will always and forever be better! I have to agree. I have no intentions of dissing the hard work of both Weitz and Slade, but if things were filmed slower, filmed differently (such as Harry Potter) then it would’ve given us Twi-Hards time to miss and embrace again, the reason we fell in love with Stephenie Meyer’s creation from the very beginning. My apologies for this long poll response, but I felt the need to share something I have been talking about with my friends and fellow Twi-Hards for a long time now. Thanks TOR for this poll question!

  41. I think it’s AWESOME that people are stating their opinion and being respectful of others who don’t share the same opinion.

    Great comments all around guys!

  42. No. Of course not. I love the books, and I will love the story forever. I don’t care how far apart the movies are, the further apart, the more excited I get.
It’s good in a way cause it separates the real fans from the fake/tween/movie fans.

I hate that this saga has been hyped up, pulling the focus away from the beautiful story and characters

    • I couldn’t agree more with your response! Amen! I don’t care how far apart the movies are either, because it allows us to get gitty-excited the way we did when we found out Twilight was being turned into a film! And it truly will separate the deep, Twi-Hards versus the others. Love your response! 🙂

  43. I’m not losing interest in Twilight Saga, but I know how it ends,of course I’ll like see the movie and it’s a cause of Rob obviously, but now I’m more interested to see him on another roles. To be honest I prefer Rob on another roles and is because that I feel most Rob fan than Twilight fan.

  46. Do still love the Twilight saga (always will) and am very thankful for it, like you wouldn’t believe…but, loosing a bit of interest at least until the movies come out.

I’m prepared for the big breaks in between each BD movie as I’m really looking forward to the casts’ other projects – ok, more notably Rob’s and Kristen’s. 🙂

  47. Still very excited for the Saga and also other Rob films at the same time. I want to see them all.

  48. In fact, no. I just think Summit made the wrong decision. Waiting until November 2011 and November 2012 may cause serious damages on the interest of people. As I am Rob’s fan, I have Bel Ami and Water for elephants in the meanwhile.

  49. i’m losing interests but i’m still watching what peter, robert and the rest of the cast are working on. I adore Nurse Jackie, I loved Remember Me. I’ll still watch BD and will also purchase the multiple DVD copies for the extras. But i can safely say that my interests in the series is waning ….

  50. Yes. I am loosing interest in it because those movies are just poorly done and fans are making me crazy. I will watch it only for Rob. But that’s it. Twilight was and is everywhere and I’m a little sick of it. I need some break from it.
Too much marketing and promotion. Summit makes bad movies because fans will see them no matter what.

  51. I’m not losing interest in Twilight, and I don’t think I will in a looong time. I’m very excited for other movies, like The Mortal Instruments, Uglies, Beastly.. But OF COURSE I0ll go and see both breaking dawn I and II.

The Twilight Saga films are going to keep me obsessed for a looong time, like I said before.

  52. I’m still interested in The Twilight Saga! I love Rob as Edward and Kristen as Bella. I can’t wait to see BD! And I will always be a twihard. Forever!

  53. Yeah What Catherine did in emotions for twilight no other producer have. I support the cast but lost most interest thanks to new moon. Just let me see the end and stop milking the saga on money. I Love the books more . And robsten have done other great movies 😉

  54. The Twilight Saga is getting old and I’ve been more of a Rob fan than a Twilight fan anyways. I am excited for the last two installments though, but I am more excited about Rob’s other
projects. I cannot wait for Bel Ami and Water For Elephants!

  56. No absolutely! I’m looking forward to seeing Breaking Dawn Part 1 and 2!

I love Edward and Bella the most!

  57. yep, I’m losing interest in Twilight really quickly, I can’t be waiting around for 2 more years, I’m hoping something else will capture my attention by then just like Twilight originally did. But saying that, I will still go to the cinema to watch the movies!

  58. I am most certainly not losing interest! I am a big fan of the stories, characters and the whole Twilight universe, and I always will be. It’s not just about the actors for me, although I can’t imagine anyone else as Edward Cullen!
I’m very interested to see what they’re going to do with Breaking Dawn. It’s the most interesting story and will translate well to film.

  59. to be honest, yea im bored with it now. its gone on to long, i just want it to be finished.knowing i’ve got to wait 2 years for final movie is going to drag. i’ll go and watch it obviously, im interested to see how certain scenes from the book are realised on film but im not as into it as i was at the start. i watched all the sneak peaks ans trailers for new moon, i couldnt wait, but i didnt watch any for eclipse. that says alot. i really want to see all the actors in non twilight roles, especially rob. i liked remember me so much because it was so nice, and a relief, to see rob not being edward. also fed up with the fandom craziness and drama . twilight was supposed to be fun.

  60. I`m loosing interest in the saga, too. i want to see rob in other roles than just edward.

  61. I need a third category…undecided.

I am curious to see how things will be accomplished, what things will look like in BD, but the story isn’t my favorite. So I’m looking forward to it from more of a technical aspect. I’m especially interested in seeing all of the other vampires. Regarding the storyline, I’m interested in seeing Bella come to the realization of who she is once she becomes a vampire.

But I’m REALLY looking forward to Rob’s other films. I think we will begin to see him make a name for himself beyond the teen heart-throb image. I think he will prove he’s got what it takes. He did it with other movies (Little Ashes, The Haunted Airman) but they were so “small” that his performances weren’t widely seen like Bel Ami and WFE will be. In other words, I think he’s really going to make his mark with these latest “non Twilight Saga” movies. And I’m super excited about that…so maybe I’m not so undecided afterall. 🙂

  62. Provavelmente eu vou ser uma avó , afinal, é feito, mais BD meu livro favorito , mas eu ainda interested.Por outro lado, em pouco tempo nós WFE Ba e novos projetos e quem sabe Rob. Abraços

  63. I’m still interested in Twilight Saga. I read the books last year and I can’t get away from this whole Twilight stuff 🙂

    -Ana

  64. I think Summit has made a huge mistake in stretching it out so far. Its too close to the Harry Potter 2part movie and makes them seem desperate. I’ll admit that I’m still a fan of the franchise and will be there opening night both times but only because of my love of the books. I am, sadly, I think, getting over Twilight! *shock horror* With Rob branching out into all these new roles, fans are going to be focused on these…imagine how many more there will be between now and November 2012! Summit would be better off knocking off both parts of BD really close together to keep interest. Mostly I feel really sorry for the actors, who are going be stuck in the abyss that is Twilight for almost two more years after they finish filming BD!!
Oops…sorry about the rant. In summary…yeah, by the time BD pt 2 comes out…Twilight: I just wont be into you!!

  65. I’m more interested in Rob and Kristen’s other projects now, so exicted for Bel Ami and WFe and ONthe Road!. I think I’ve moved on. I still like Twilight and I will go and see BD for the cast’s sake, but I was slightly disappointed by Eclipse. Too much like a teen movie. And The BD Part 2 2012 release date announcement was the final straw. It’s dragging on too long.

  66. Seriously? How could you even ask such an Obtuse question!!! hahahahaha ❤
    @Scoobsnheather

  67. Still very much interested. Can’t believe we have to wait so long :/

    Totally love them both 🙂

  69. I’m not really interested in Breaking Down, one of the main reason is because I think was the worst book of the saga, another reason: 2 parts? too looong!…I’m looking forward to see Robert in other movies…

  70. The Twilight Saga it’s a very special frachise that made me totally fall in love for the guy who I only knew playing Cedric Diggory, but all this planning from Summit it’s making me boring. As a Rob fan, I’m more anxious and interested for Bel Ami and Water for Elephants than for Breaking Dawn. To be honest, I’m looking forward to the end of all this so we can let Rob be himself.

    Totally love him! ❤

  71. Hummm.. I’m interested to see Breaking Dawn, only for see how they can resolve all the problems that go with this movie, Renesmee, the Jacob part, the birth… They can ruin it or can success, and I’m curios about that xD.

For other part.. it’s been almost three years that I know the saga and all this world, and everything turns boring in that time, so yes, I’m losing my interest but I remain loyal to a saga that makes me past such a great time and discover Rob, Muse and very different things.

    So thank you Twilight.

  73. Well, I’m loosing the interest toward the film, I’m not excited to see the BD anymore ..I really love the films, but I totally agree someone wrote before me: the whole hysteria and biznis ruin everything. I saw the first one like hundred times, but the other ones I just can’t watch every day what I did when the first film came out. I agree Rob is the perfect Edward, but when I hear the name Robert Pattinson, no Edward come into my mind first anymore. I love more his other roles..I love the new one, Water for Elephants and thnk Jacob Jankowski is the perfect role for him.

  74. Definitely not losing interest – was a fan of the books first. My love of all things RP came later… It all started with Edward and the love story is hard to let go of for me!

  75. I read the books only for Rob Pattinson after seen him in twilight so I’m still interested Breaking Down want to see the wedding of Edward and Bella

  76. I’m still pretty interested, but I think I would be more interested if they bring back Catherine, because she did the best job. I’m not sure if I’ll like Breaking Dawn, because Eclipse didn’t really touch me,Bella was kind of bad. I mean Edward/Rob proposed a few times and she didn’t responded like she should have.
Breaking Dawn is my favorite book,so I hope they’ll make a good job,and add all the important quotes and scenes.

  77. The music is what caught me the most with the movies – I didn’t know anything about the saga until I was given the DVD and it went from there with my interest in the music so I’m keeping up with it till the end. LOVE the soundtracks…

As for Mr Pattinson… Remember Me was more impressive. Loved the script! 🙂

  78. i can never ever lose interest in Twilight saga… its like an important thing in my life… i even wo9nder sometimes that what will i do after breaking dawn(s) … i am an always will be team Edward and i love the whole Saga like crazy…
    aqsa

  79. My interest for the Twilight Saga basicly started to fade already before Eclipse, all the snippets they brought out didn’t really set me on fire and the actual movie left me feeling a little disappointed aswell. When we heard Breaking dawn was gonna be split in two that was kind of it for me.

But I’m a Rob fan first and foremost, and i’m very much looking forward to Bel Ami and especially Water for Elephants!

  82. No. I have not lost any interest in twilight saga and will never as it has lovely and amazing ROB

  83. No, not losing interest! Full steam ahead! I am re-reading Breaking Dawn as we speak.

  84. NO!!! I LOVE TWILIGHT! NOT ONLY BECAUSE OF THE CAST BUT BECAUSE I LOVE THE STORY TOO!! I WILL EVER EVER FEEL BORING ABOUT THE SAGA!!!

  85. I think, yes !

  86. I’ve lost my interest in Twilight because of all this absurd drama going on. I just want them to get it over with. I went to the cinema a lot of times in order to see Twilight and New Moon but I only went once for Eclipse. Honestly, I only watched New Moon once after I bought the DVD… I’ll watch Breaking Dawn, but it is not the same for me. I miss my anxiety about the movies.
I want to see new things with all the actors. 😉

  88. Losing interest for sure. However, that doesn’t mean not interested at all. Mostly a fan of Rob so I’m intensely interested in seeing whatever he does, especially BA and WFE. I agree with whoever said that the more money they throw at the Twi movies the less like the Twilight I know and love they become. I actually liked Eclipse, but more in an AU kind of way. They have a chance to do it right in BD, especially with the first one. Maybe they can draw me back into the saga. Maybe not.

  89. i am barely starting to lose interest in the twilight saga as a whole altho i will still see breaking sawn multiple times. Still totally into rpattz tho!

  90. I gotta admit Water For Elephants was pretty distracting, but now thats its over I’ll be looking forward to Breaking Dawn , so I vote ‘NO’

  91. No, I am not losing interest, but I am disappointed about the long wait for the 2nd part of BD. I am also afraid of the lack of confidence if the screen adaptation. It will be interesting to see how it turns out, but I think we may have already seen the best films of the series already. Either way I support Rob and look forward to him being able to move forward with other projects and close this chapter of his career.

  92. once you’re infected you can never be cured! so my answer is NO! but i guess, the time is way to long to give the saga a great ending!

  93. Yes losing interest. More because its mostly written for teens and has not matured at all threw the years. Not much to look forward to, just cheaply made movie with a horrible script. I will love the books forever but the movies have been one disappointment after the next for the most part and the money there making from us.

  94. I am completely disinterested in Saga, I’ve been involve with other books and with this delay in the launch of the two parties of Breaking Dawn, I believe the Summit will lose and not win as it is their interest.

As for Rob, I still love him and I agree that I am much more interested in seeing him as Georges Duroy and Jacob Jankowski than to see him as Edward in BD.

So my love for Robert Pattinson never decreases, but by Saga, already cooled…

  95. No, no and no!! I haven’t lost my interest in the Twilight Saga. I’m waiting for the release of Eclipse dvd, then for Breaking Dawn movies, and in the meantime, I always re-read the books, and now I’m reading a really interesting book entitled “Twilight and history”, it is great and I recommend it to everyone!

  97. Definitely lost interest.

Not because of the actors and actresses, but because of Suckmit and the way they are/have handled this franchise. I understand it was blown out of the water and they claimed to have no idea as to the success it would have… fair, but once they saw the success The Twilight Saga DID have it may have been wiser to take a step back and evaluate how to proceed instead of rushing forward and jerking us around with the last movie. – It is what it is. I’ll still see both parts and support the talent, but as for monitoring the web and holding my breath for leaks everyday… not so much. I have lost my “Twi-Hardness” and it’s sad.

  98. Yes…Over a year for BD 1 then an additional year for BD 2. I will wait for the cast to show up in their other movies. Rob in Bel Ami and WFE, Taylor in Abductued and the rest. The Twilight cast will have MANY movies that come out in the next 2 years and I will hold my interest for that. Waiting over 2 years for a 2 part movie to be complete is way to long. Sorry Summit but I think you are making a huge mistake. I really hope you reconsider the decision. If you are looking at the money and stats on attendance, I truly think you you have made the wrong choice as you have the fan base with you now. In two years that is going to change…other things are going to come along.

  99. Still very much interested even though it is a long wait. I am also definitely going to watch Robert’s other movies in the meantime big fan of his.

  100. No.. I am definitely still a fan of the Twilight Saga and think I will always be. The books are firm favourites of mine and will remain so. That said though I am also enjoying the movies both Rob and Kristen are now doing and I follow both their careers with avid interest.

Of course I am a died in the wool Robsten lover too, but would never let their relationship colour their individual talents in my eyes.

I personally can’t wait to see what they take on next… I would also love to see Rob take a step into the directing side of movie making as well as wanting to see him publish some of his music.

I also have a hankering to see how Kristen might handle a comedic role.

Whatever… all power to them both… I love them both and wish them nothing but success and happiness (after all they have both brought a lot of happiness into a lot of lives one way or another through Twilight and beyond).

  101. The only reason I still deal with the crazies and shit is because of Rob, other than that, I could care less.

  102. Of Course I’m still interested.

I read the saga every night, even if I’m reading another book. The saga has been with me through everything, so it’s become more of a personal bond with the books.
And of course I’ll still be interested in everything that ROB does after that…
    can’t wait for WFE 😀 !

  104. I still interesting to see breaking dawn but I think that the date is very far, obviously as a fan that I am I would like to see to Robert in other movies but I prefer over all to Twilight Saga.

  105. At this point I have lost interest! Now the question is whether I will still buy into it while it’s still in the theaters. Summit knows we will still come no matter what and that bothers me lol!

  106. I am a huge Twilight fan and like most others, always will be but to answer your question I’m going to say ‘I don’t know’ because I don’t know if I’m losing interest or if it’s because I know part 1 is so far away and part 2 is even further. But I will say this: I’m still disappointed about the fact that they are going to be keeping both parts strictly pg13 (or 12a in uk) as I think it is going to make a big difference to the story, and by the time it actually comes out a huge amount of twilight fans will be older. Maybe this is contributing to some people not being as excited about it because I know that that’s the reason why I’m not. I don’t know if it’s the same in every book store but the ones where I’ve seen breaking Dawn in the shelves it’s the only book that isn’t in the teenage section where all of the others are. If the book has been written that way then why not keep it that way? I will be watching it, of course I will but I think this is why I’m not as excited anymore for the next installment.

It’s been very interesting reading everyones opinion on here so thanx for this poll :0)

  107. Yes, I am losing interest in Twilight. Although I love seeing Rob as Edward I also loved seeing him as Tyler in Remember and always loved him in Little Ashes. And now I find myself looking foward more to his roles outside Twilight. I really think Rob is more than Edward and can’t wait to see him as Georges and Jacob. I’ve always been more of a Rob fan than a Twilight fan and can’t wait now more than ever to see him in more exciting roles. I still love Edward but I’m not fond of the crazy fans and drama its created for Rob. Another thing is I’m sick of people refusing to see Rob as anything but Edward. For example many didn’t vote for Remember Me for the MTVMAs. That was a huge fail. And I think the longer the saga goes on the more people will become obbessed with him as Edward. But hes more than that. Anyway sorry for the long rant but I just had to say that.

  108. I lost interest just before New Moon’s release. But only the interest in franchise goings on. I find much more enjoyment out of reading fanfiction and watching parodies. I think this comes from my frustration with how seriously this franchise and it’s fans take themselves.
I certainly don’t see the need to make BD into two films. (but I do plan on getting drunk to watch them)
I also plan to follow Rob’s career outside of it because I feel that he has the potential to be a great actor if he’s paired with others of substance.

  109. Tired of the actual saga as in the story? No. I fell in love with the books for a reason and I won’t get tired of the actual story. Am I tired of the commercial world and all the mania surrounding it? Absolutely. It makes me not as excited for the movies as I should be, but I still love the story. At this point I’m more excited for Rob’s other films than I am for Breaking Dawn. I just think the whole media circus of everything Twilight is too much and its tarnishing it. I’ll be happy when its over with and we can see the cast really move on, because I think they’re all great and am excited to see what else they’re going to do.

  110. I will never loose interest. Books & Actors are wonderful!!!!!!!

  111. I will always be a Twilight fan, however, I have become more of a Robert and Kristen fan and am looking forward to their other projects.

  112. “I will go see Breaking Dawn but I’m more anxious for Bel Ami and Water for Elephants than for Breaking Dawn”. I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU. Twilight Saga is a wonderful story and but I think movies don’t give justice to the essence. But, thanks to the movies, I started to know Robert and totally enchanted for his talent, attitudes, beauty. So I will always love Twilight but I FISICALLY NEED TO SEE ROB in so many other different movies because I think he’s GREAT! I’m sure I won’t never be tired of him!

  114. Never lost interest. I love the Saga books and movies. The world that Stephanie created is magical and I enjoy seeing how it will be translated onto the screen.
Certain actors are of more interest but that has nothing to do with the Saga.

  115. hell no……….

  116. I don’t think I will ever lose interest in the love story and world that Stephanie created in Twilight. I was in Forks this summer and it was cool to walk on La Push Beach and thru the forest. At the same time I am also a Team Rob Fan. Love his work and look forward to seeing all of his movies.

  117. When I saw Twilight, I was so enthusiastic about it. I even saw the movie before I read the books. But then, at least since I saw Robert in rememeber me, my interest started to fade away because I realized more than ever that he is so much more than just the perfect guy to play Edward. I prefered to see him in a role that seemed to be rather close to reality. Playing the character of Tyler Hawkins was perfect to show his talent. What a wonderful movie!
I`m definitely going to watch the last two parts, breaking dawn 1&2 but just because I want to finish the saga. I read it so I want to watch it. Nothing more.
Robert is supposed to be more than Edward, and I think we´ll see as soon as Bel ami/Water for Elephants hits the cinemas…..
Thanks for doing this survey. I´m dying to read the results. Should be quite interesting…

  118. NO I never really was. I like the story, but only went to see it because of Rob. My interest is in him and his career. I support what ever he is doing 110%. Sure when BD finally comes out I will see it,but I am looking forward to WFE and BelAmi big time. :}

  121. It’s hard to say part of me is really into the saga and I think once BD Part 1 release comes around I’ll get really excited about it again but at the moment I’m really looking forward to Rob’s two new films!

  122. No I an not.

  123. I’m not losing interest in the Twilight Saga but I am much more excited for Rob’s other films.

  124. Im kinda losing interest only because Summit ruined it by releasing all these clips and to me some of the ads were rediculous to watch like i had to litually turn off my tv so that i didnt have to watch it. I agree with most pple when they said that the script was horrible and plus the two main actors, Rob and Kristen, are going to have to endure the papps for the next two year or more…. :(. the craziness surrounding the movies is to me not the same and i rele want to see Rob and Kristen and even Taylor in more better roles. Im way more excited to see rob in BE and WFE than as edward again. dont get me wrong i love rob as edward i just like the book edward way more thats all. Srry it was soo long i just had to get it out of my system

  125. No I am not loosing interest in Twilight!!! Honestly I havent watched many of Rob’s new films. I love him, but I like him a lot in Twilight. I did watch the haunted airman and it was awesome…I am awaiting BelAmi. Other than that I am a TwiHard 4 Life!!! Holla!!

  126. I intend to see every movie Rob Pattinson makes unless I am dead.

  127. I’m pretty unbiased.

I mean on the one hand it sucks that Summit’s only interest is m.o.n.e.y. (as if they were not able to see something else) but

on the other hand the world Stephenie Meyer created is still fascinating me. She’s done something with me that I can’t describe. I mean because of Twilight I got to know great people. And that’s why I’m still in love with the saga.

Still there’s something I hate about it: Everyone’s now only thinking about the money and not about the finished (!!) story. I hope Stephenie won’t write a new book only because of Summit – I could imagine that Summit tells her to … or they say “We need a little bit of time and therefore please write a new book so that the fans are still interested! And you’ll get more money for BD”

That’s just my opinion. Pretty unbiased but… I don’t care – I’m still in love with twilight and I’m not over it.

Although NOW I’m more excited to see Bel Ami & Water for Elephants …

  128. NO I DID NOT LOSE INTEREST

BUT As of the moment I am more into Rob’s other projects such as Water for Elephants which will be shown first than BD but I am sure that when Breaking Dawn will be shown I will be so excited again

  131. My love for Twilight has really morphed into more of a love for Rob. When Eclipse came out, I knew it was the last of the movies I was excited to see, since it was my favorite book in the series. But BD…just didn’t do it for me. I will see it just to “see it through to the end”, but the excitement film-wise ended with Eclipse for me.

I want Rob to have a long and successful career…because I don’t think we’ve even really scratched the surface of what he can do onscreen. And every Twi movie requires him to morph back to Edward in the public’s mind…he needs to move beyond it. And a full year between films being released? Holding these actors for another 2 years to the endless promotion and overexposure that the release of these films always bring? I feel for the cast…

So yes…I am getting over Twi. But I’ll never be over Rob…(in any capacity…sadly) 😉

  132. NO!!, I’m definitely not starting to lose interest! Twilight is something I’ll always be a fan of and always remember!! The books are incredible and the Breaking Dawn movies are something I can’t wait for!!

  133. Nope, still love it.

  134. Not very interested in the saga (the characters are much more funny in the books) but still completely robsessed …

  135. I am losing interest. Have been reading other books with more adult theme and Twilight Saga is losing some of its appeal. Have seen everything that Rob has done and I think the script for Twilight has been holding him back because he is an awesome actor. The script for Twilight Saga is definitely for the Tweens.

  136. well… it’s not that i lost my interest in them , but they are really far away , BD1 nov 2011 then BD2 nov 2012 !!!!!!! new moon and eclipse were perfectly close , and i loved that , plus the actors all changed , i mean it’s cool for kristen ’cause she’s human and she grows up , but i mean the cullens changed alot since twilight , i LOVE rob to death , don’t get me wrong , but i don’t think he looks 17 anymore! but what ever i say i’m really looking forward to BD , it is my fav book !!

  137. Well, still interested in the saga. Rob’s other films are good…perhaps I’m losing interest in Rob….. Anyway, still a fan until I don’t like his movies???

  139. I started loosing interest in the Twilight Saga since I watched New Moon. I loved Rob in Twilight, Little Ashes, Remember Me and now I am anxious to see him in Bel Ami, Water for Elephants and other projects more interesting.

  140. No, I’ll always love the saga and the brilliant Twilight-universe!
It’s such a great story, it’s always exciting and wonderful no matter how many times I read the books or watch the movies! Twilight forever ❤

  141. No way! I’m still very interested and very eager to see Breaking Dawn brought to the screen and to DVD. I never get tired of watching Twilight & New Moon & can’t wait for Eclipse on DVD. But I’ll also look forward to all of Rob’s movies & am grateful to have BA and WforE coming out early next year, ’cause it’s a long time to wait until November, 2011!

  142. I have to say I am quickly losing interest. The only reason that I read the books and saw the movies was because I discovered Rob in a magazine and friends told me I should watch Twilight and read the books first. I loved the books and I loved Rob in Twilight and I was really excited for New Moon but when Eclipse came around I found that I wasn’t near as excited. I love Rob and I am ready for him to be free of the saga and do other things. I can’t wait for WFE and Bel Ami. I will still see BD but I’m just not as interested as I used to be and when I found out that BD 2 wasn’t coming out till 2012 I finally thought “I’m over it”. That is a long wait.

  143. No, I’m not losing interest in the saga. When I say I am a fan of the saga, that’s exactly what I mean. Sure I love Rob and Kristen along with the rest of the cast, but it was the saga that I fell in love with first. Like any franchise, you’re not going to be as excited for the movies as the first but I’m not losing interest in the slightest:)

  144. Honestly, I’ve never been interested in the Twilight saga but agree with more than half of the people that are saying they only tolerate it to support Rob. Which is good enough for me to watch :]

  146. NO!of course not ! i’ll never ever lose interest in the most amazing love story and the incredible world of the Twilight saga …
i love Robert and i’m robssesed but that doesn’t mean that loving rob’s other projects would make me lose my LOVE toward the saga …

  147. My passion for the Twilight Saga still going strong! haha can’t get enough, keep expecting the intesity of my obsession to fade but noooo still re-reading the books, still watching the movies over and over and still have impulse to buy, see, know all about anything related to this franchise.
I am of course now totally Robsessed too and also follow careers of some of the other cast members too, I am just glad they are keeping busy & making movies for us to watch while we wait for Breaking Dawn, November 2011 seems like forever away!

  148. I think that I am losing interest…not in the story from the books, but in Melissa Rosenberg’s butchery of the stories, and in particular, of the character of Edward. I will, no doubt, see the remaining two films, and I don’t outright hate the three already made. However, the treatment of Edward in the script has been moving farther and farther away from the character in the books, and I don’t think that this is an acceptable change when moving from the books to the films. This really jumped out at me during Eclipse, when Edward was painted so negatively (and inaccurately). I really fear what Melissa will do to him in Breaking Dawn. I am a fan of the story of Water for Elephants, and think Rob will do a great job with the role. I just hope that, unlike the Twilight scripts, he is given more to work with, and a truer version of the wonderful character from the book.

  149. I am more interested in seeing Rob’s other projects now. But I’ll definitely be seeing BD 1 and 2. I am however kinda worried about how they are going to play out BD. I really hope it doesn’t end up being badly written and/or depicted. I want it to blow people out of the water.

  150. nope :p but then again, i’m just a sucker for romance stories…

  151. I am getting tired of Twilight. Although the action scenes in Eclipse were good some of the dialogue was really cheesy and I’ve always thought Bella is a selfish charcater, and really annoying. I’m more a Rob fan than a Twilight fan. I’ll go see Breaking Dawn but it’s Bel Ami and Water for Elephants I’m waiting for. I just hope Rob can get out of the Twilight bubble and have the great career he deserves. He is far more talented than the Edward part shows him to be.

  152. I def want to see BD 1 and 2, esp the wedding, honeymoon & birth. I also want to see Bella as a vampire. I think she’ll be extraordinarily beautiful. Some of Kristen’s glamorous photos in magazines show how gorgeous she can look. I wish Summit would have done a better job with the films. I loved the first one and NM was pretty good, esp the scene in Italy, but I was disappointed in Eclipse because they watered down the beautiful and intimate conversation b/t E & B that lead to their agreement about sex and marriage. I was a Rob fan first, then saw Twilight. I’m addicted to him and the Saga. I’m eager to see his other films as well and expect him to be a leading man in films for a long time to come.

  153. I will never loose interest. I just reading Twilight for the first time in a while, and I’ve just fallen in love with the whole saga all over again. Of course the films aren’t perfect, but they still make me feel all fuzzy and warm inside each time I watch them. Yes its horrible we have to wait so long for BD, but I’m going to be as eager to see it as a child on christmas eve! Even if I do start to slightly loose interest in the films, I will NEVER loose interest in the Saga itself. In 30 or 40 years, I will look back on this period with the fondest of memories and an amazing part of growing up (I’m 18). Those of you who are losing interest, just rememeber the first time you read Twilight, saw the film or even saw Rob for the first time, and remember how it made you feel.

  154. No, I’m not losing interest. I saw the movie Twilight and liked it. So I bought the books and got sucked in. I’ve loved how the story played out, and am enjoying seeing how the books have been interpreted into and played out in the movies.

  155. No! Impossible!!! The interest on the saga is still strong and I wish there was more to come…. beside, I truly cannot even conceive the idea of losing interest, right after what Eclipse was like. My strong feelings will be there until the end comes…

  157. Losing interest in the HYPE that is Twilight..I’ll watch BD part 1 and 2 but to be honest I am more excited over Rob’s NON Twilight movies… I check out the blogs about Rob and the movies he does more than the Twilight stuff…

  158. I’m gonna have to go with a BIG FAT NO, I am not losing interest. I’m with it the whole way through. That’s one of the reasons why I’m so obsessed; to see the whole saga come alive.

Though I’m quite anxious for Bel Ami WFE and OTR, it hasn’t put a damper on my excitement for BD. That’s my 2 cents.

  159. No, I’m not losing interest in the twilight Saga…and this is a Big fat NO…Rob is in it…so NO NO NO

  160. I’m undecided. I love the storyline, but I think now w/BD being so far away I think it’s only natural that people would lose interest. I’m sure the actors don’t really want to be associated with Twilight for a lifetime anyways. I will always adore Rob in whatever he does, regardless of Twilight. But with that said, I do still feel entranced by the Twilight world. But I’m no crazy, like some people out there! Do I think Breaking Dawn will be awesome? Yes, of course. But, I for one, am kinda nearing the end of the Twilight train. Kinda. 😉

So I guess you could say losing interest, but haven’t lost it yet.

However I’m much more excited to see Bel Ami and especially Water for Elephants!

  163. I love the saga, really I do but my zip has been slightly zapped. My passion is still there but not as OCD as it was when New Moon was released. I’ll still go see the movie but maybe not multiple times as I have with Eclipse.

My passion for Rob is still strong. I’ll love that man past the time when he’s old & gray. I’d pack the blue pill & carry it around in our golden years just in case he goes senile & gives me a romping change *snort*

I am looking forward to Bel Ami but more so for #WFE. I’ve said it before & I’m saying it again. I fully expect to see Rob walk across the stage to accept his Academy Award & I’ll be watching it on TV hoot’n & holler’n like mad.

    • I agree with you that Robert will get that Academy Award. I’ll be with you in the hoot’n holler’n part..

I’ll also be saying. TAKE THAT you sons a B***** 😉

  164. I have come to realize that Summit is all about the money and numbers and really do not care what the fans think. They tried to get rid of Taylor Lautner, then they got rid of Rachelle LeFevre, a German girl wins a part in the movie only to be cut…. they are filming Breaking Dawn as one movie, but splitting it in two, only to have people wait a whole year in between, when we all know it will be finished with in months. We’re all tools in their games and we’ve all fallen for it. They are lucky people dont boycott all of their movies.

  165. Definitley lost interest. Love the books and the actors but I’ve so gotten tired of all the Twilight hype – especially when I’ve seen the sort of craziness that follows Rob because of it.

  167. I love The Twilight Saga movies and books and always will! So definitely NOT losing interest.

  168. I’ve not lost interest in the Saga but I was never over the top about it either. I saw Twilight on DVD right before New Moon came out. I have to say what keeps me going to see them is how creative they will be going from book to movie. I’m really excited to see what they will do with Breaking Dawn, there is just SOOOO much to work with.

As far as Rob.. I’m a FAN!!! PERIOD! Looking forward to whatever movie he puts out, to watch him grow in his art. Hoping for some music from him as well.

  169. I loved the books.

However the films, Eclispe for me didn’t do it. I thought New Moon was so much better. There were aspects in Eclispe I liked.. but nothing more.

Kristen Stewarts’s BELLA is falling so flat for me. She seemed to have lost her facial expression entirely. Which is sad. I loved Bella in the books.

Well.. with that being said, I will see Breaking Dawn I II. Of course!

  171. Definitely YES. I want to see Rob take on more characters like Jacob. I love Twilight but the fact that Summit are purposely tieing up Rob for another two years and keeping him from doing different projects just so that they can make more money makes me even more eager for the saga to end.

  172. I’m a Twilight fan, read all the books and saw all the movies. I will see Breaking Dawn. I saw Remember Me, which I thought was good, but sad. As for Bel Ami, not sure I want to see it…however, we will see. I might see W for E, sounds interesting. I don’t want to see the movie ’cause Rob is in it. My interest is in the storyline. I’m still a Rob fan, but not as much as before.

  173. Have not lost interest-but is killing me that I have to wait that long…

  174. I havent lost interest in the slightest. I love watching the saga. I watch them more then ive ever watched any films.

Love them, twilight saga fan forever here.

  175. Ummm, first time commenting. I’m normally on the Eclipsemovie.org site as TE101.

Anyway, I can not see the possiblity of me getting old of the Twilight Saga. I’ve been so involved in everything that happens in the movies and with the actors. Even though I’ve never seen any of them in person. I’m in too deep already. It’s changed my frame of mind, the way I act and it’s made be a different person.

I know two years is a long time for it to all end…but it’s worth it.

I will always love the Twilight Saga and everyone involved with it. I hope my kids someday will wish they could be apart of this amazing phenomenon.

    TWILIGHT FOREVER ❤

    • Im a semi-retired EM.org commenter! LOL My life changed the moment I read those books. In fact I met some of my now real life friends on the EM site.

  176. I have to say, I haven’t lost interest at all, although I am disappointed we have to wait so long… I have read the books a million times and I am always eager to see how the story I fell in love with will be portrayed on screen, sometimes I am a little disappointed with the changes they make, but I understand that sometimes that has to happen, however in saying that I am never disapointed in Robert, or any of the other cast members….

I am also very excited to see Rob and everyone else in different roles (especially Rob). I can’t wait for them all to prove to the world that they are amazing and they will not be “one hit wonders” so to speak, I think all of the cast have so much to offer on and off screen.

  177. Love the saga, love rob. will NOT lose interest in the saga. BUT I will have a great time seeing him in Bel Ami & Water for Elephants.

  178. ABSOLUTELY NEVER!!! Who cannot wait to see the wedding? The honeymoon? The pregnancy and birth? Bella finally changing into a vamp! Vampire sex LOL!! Have we forgotten that? The final battle with the Volturi and I hope Jane and Felix die! I WANT MORE TWILIGHT!!!1

  179. I most certainly not lost interest. While I love seeing any of the cast in other movies (Remember Me is awesome), I am anxious to see the next two installments.

  181. Losing interest :/ ..I LOVE Rob, and I’m so excited about his movies, but the Twilight Saga as a whole just doesn’t do it for me anymore. I’ve seen Twilight over 40 times, saw New Moon in theater 5 times and have watched it a good amount of times on DVD, but I’ve only seen Eclipse twice (not even at midnight opening night), and that was my favorite book. Breaking Dawn being so far away just makes me shrug my shoulders. I’m much more excited for WFE and Bel Ami.

  182. Still interested but not as obsessive as I was. I’m still looking forward to seeing Breaking Dawn on screen. It was my favourite book and has very interesting elements that will be incredibly exciting to see in the flesh (so to speak) however as it is such a long wait for both Pt1 and Pt2 I’ve let myself simmer down somewhat. Rather than breathlessly anticipating each new piece of information or trawling the web to find out one more tidbit instead I’m chilling out and getting interested in other things. If you ask again closer to November next year it may well be a completely different story.

Regardless I still think Rob and Kristen are absolute HAWTness and will see whatever they appear in.

  183. I Love the saga, and I can’t wait to see Breaking Dawn, especially the wedding, hope, they won’t ruin it for the fans.. I also can’t wait to watch both Robert and kristen in other roles, because they are amazing and talented actors..
So no, I will never lose interest in twilight sage, afterall, it did introduce to Robert Pattinson…

  184. if you are a true twilight fan, then the spark of excitement when watching this enticing saga will never fade! i know i’ll NEVER lose interest in the twilight saga!

  185. Love it too much to lose interest but I am very disappointed that the next 2 are so far off and think that Summit is making a mistake by doing this. They ought to at least have the last one a bit closer in, like June of 2012? That is still too far out but a whole lot better than November. I think Summit stands to lose too many fans by stretching it out so long.

  187. I will wait to see part one after part two is released. I hate having to wait for a year in-between and will boycott the November 2011 release and watch it after it comes out on DVD. Hey guys they are at our mercy. We could start a boycott until they promise to release part two within 6 months with a, at the latest,May 2012 release.
