  1. My personal opinion..indie films 😀

  2. I think indie films 😉

  3. For me it’s a mix of both. While I want to see him do blockbusters I also want to see him do indies.

  4. Def indie movies, but I guess with his name on the project there will be not indie for long 🙂

  5. Blockbusters

  6. indie films

  7. Indie films

  8. Indie. More character driven parts. But throw in a blockbuster or two if the project is good enough.

  9. Indie films, for sure.

  10. I’m happy to see him in whichever films he chooses, and that he’s enjoying himself in those roles.

  11. both…. He´s an amazing actor, so he could do both I think!

  12. Indie films of course 🙂

  13. Definitely both! 🙂

  14. both! he’s such a great actor and i love him in both!!

  15. Indie films definitely !

  16. I think Rob is built for Indies but for now his movies are gonna be Blockbusters no matter what they are. I would love to see Rob do something with Rex Grossman as a blockbuster. But I’d also love to see more of his gift for bringing the characters of Great books alive. He’s so versatile that I think he’ll be another Will Smith, Tom Hanks, Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp and be able to turn anything he touches into gold. He’s huge and I think we’ve only seen the Tip of iceburg!!!

  17. Blockbusters. I’m concerned he wont get the recognition he deserves if he does Indies right now.

  18. He can do both perfectly. But the most demanding and interesting roles are in Indie Films. So, I will for Indie films

  19. Indie – Indie – Indie!!!!

  20. Both, but the most demanding and interesting roles for an actor who wants to be taken serious, like Rob, are in Indies. So I vote Indies.

  21. Indie that would be surprisingly a huge success, and will crash the boxes worldwide XD
    Regardless I prefer Indie =]

  22. Definately BOTH . He is an amazing actor .

  23. Both… Indie films can confirm his credibility and blockbusters can open doors for more financial backing for his indie films…

  24. *ponders*

Indie films 68% of the time, Blockbusters 32% of the time. LOL 😉
To give him a break. So both.

  25. Like all in live, the answer of this question is balance, the blockbusters are necessary for every “famous” actor that also wants to do indie films. The blockbusters maintain you in the media, spread your work and give you the money for do whatever indie films that you want to do in the next one or two years.
So.. my answer is 1 bockbuster for a 3 or 4 indie films.

  26. He’s a smart boy – Let him do what he wants!

  27. both 🙂

  28. Both but if I had to pick one only, then Indie. It’s more him.

  29. def in both!!

  30. Indie 🙂

  31. Depends on what the role he plays is. If it’s a good script and something that suits him well he should play it. It doesn’t really matter if it is a Blockbuster or an Indie.

  32. Bockbusters, but not movies like Transformers or 2012, for example. I would like to see Rob starring big productions type “Inception”, “The Dark Knight” ( Nolan ), “Shutter Island” (Scorsese), “Water for Elephants” ( F Lawrence), “The Social Network”, “Zodiac” ( Fincher ), Star Trek ( JJ Abrams version). I would prefer seeing Rob making great TV Series or TV Mini-Series type “Band of Brothers”, “Rubicon”, “Mad Men” and “The Good Wife” than Indie Films. I love certain Indie films type “The Kids are all Right” but at this moment I think Rob needs more visibility and prestige at the same time to improve his work even more, and only major productions with great scripts, casts, directors and producers can give him that right now.

  33. both defianately

i love him in blockbusters as it means he can realy show case his talents to the world but i also want him to keep up wiht the little indie films we all love so much

  34. Whatever puts him out there where I can see him most .

  35. Indie.

  36. I would say that it should probably be a mixture of both. Majority should be indie though with just a few blockbusters thrown in there.

  37. I think mostly Indie, but the odd blockbuster if the script is right. Although, anything he’s in is a blockbuster in my books! Looking forward to WFE!

  38. i would love him in a comedy, but i choose indie films.

  39. Definitely indie films, which are usually more character driven, and thus would contain more opportunities for Rob’s acting talent to shine.

  40. I can kind of see him do something like Johnny Depp’s career where there are blockbusters interspersed with lesser known yet brilliant movies. I think we’re getting that in a way with Bel Ami being a seedy indie type (reminds me of something along the line of Johnny’s period film The Libertine) and WFE being more of a big hollywood movie with Reese and Christoph. As long as he makes good movies blockbuster or indie I’ll be a happy camper.

  41. Both of them.
    Indies for rich the career.
    Blocks for fun!!!

  42. Both

  43. indie films, because they are real,a blockbuster it would have to be a modern version of gone with the wind…………….. he has such an iconic look about him, I’m predujice….

  44. I’d watch him in a blockbuster, an indie, a commercial, on the stage, an exercise video, a psa…I’d watch an eight hour movie of him just sleeping.

I do think it is important to have a good director. I think he should collaborate with Martin Scorsese or Kathryn Bigelow.

  45. Whichever Rob prefers and whichever makes him happy!

Personally, Rob could recite the telephone book to me and I would be enthralled 🙂
