Hey guys, there’s been a lot of talk and online speculation about the release date of BEL AMI, which stars Robert Pattinson, Uma Thurman, Christina Ricci and Kristin Scott Thomas. We can confirm that we will be releasing BEL AMI in the first quarter of 2012, however the exact date has not been confirmed – yet. We will announce more details soon – you’ll be the first to know:)
Bel Ami has at least 14 different distributors on my list. Hopscotch is for Australia & New Zealand. Not that 1st qtr 2012 won’t apply in US. Bel Ami distributors: Incognito for Estonia, Latvia, & Lithuania; Independent for Netherlands; Kinowelt for Germany; Optimum for UK; Studio Canal for France; 01 for Italy; California for Brazil; Camilla Internusa for Indonesia; CatchPlay for Taiwan; Central Partnership for Russia; Front Row for UAE & Middle East; Hollywood for Greece; Hopscotch for Aus & NZ; UniKorea for Korea.
But I think it’s safe to assume if OZ/NZ distrib says 1st qtr ’12 that means it will premiere somewhere before the end of March. 😉
Another poll for you guys this morning 😉 What’s your favorite Robert Pattinson Movie Look? Leave a comment to let us know and we’ll tally the totals. I didn’t add Rings of the Nibelungs as not many people have seen it.
It’s poll time. Which of Robert Pattinson’s upcoming movies are you most looking forward to? Bel Ami or Water for Elephants? We’re not including Breaking Dawn since the release date is too far away.
Bel Ami
Bel Ami is a movie based on the book Bel Ami by Guy de Maupassant. Rob plays the role of Georges DuRoy, a power hungry man who climbs the social ladder by using his charms on women of influence.
Water for Elephants
Water for Elephants is based on a book by Sara Gruen. Water for Elephants takes place during the Great Depression. Rob plays the role of Jacob Jankowski a young man who, trying to find his bearings after the death of his parents, ends up on a travelling circus.
So which movie are you most looking forward too and why? Let us know in the comments.
Scandinavia’s top distributors have announced the titles they acquired for the Nordic territories during the Cannes Film Festival.
Scanbox Entertainment has picked up Scandinavian rights to the UK titles Monsters, a sci-film film by Gareth Edward, and Bel Ami, starring Robert Pattinson and Uma Thurman (sold by Protagonist Pictures).
Bel Ami is expected to be released sometime next year.
Bel Ami to be released in December of 2010? This hasn’t been officially confirmed but comes from the same site that released the first Bel Ami still of Robert Pattinson and Uma Thurman. Bel Ami will also be promoted at the Cannes Film Festival.
