Robert Pattinson Interview on JT France 2 1 comment
Here’s the interview with JT France 2
Translation of part of the interview (Thanks to Sonia at Pattinsonlife)
* Paris is one of his favorite city.
* He didn’t have time to visit
* They asked him about the royal wedding. How did he feel about it? Does he think it’s important?
Rob: “I didn’t realise it would get to me this much, really warming to see, I didnt think it would interest me, they’re just two normal people, it’s nice to see. It’s dascinating how people talk about them.”
*Laurent: “Did you need to do something different after Twilight? To escape that type of role/genre?”
Rob: “I don’t think so but what worried me was that people would accept me or not as this character (WFE)”.
*Laurent: “What did Francis do to help you with believing that you were working in a circus during the Depression?”
Rob: “Francis and the crew did an amazing work to make the setting authentic. It was so easy to believe we were in the 30s.”
*Laurent: “You finished filming the last Twilight movie recently, was it easy to turn the page? Are you scared for the ~after?”
Rob: “Not really, I filmed all those movies right after the others, I’m relieved but I don’t feel like making another one now. I can’t pretend to look 17 anymore.”
*Laurent: “[Didn’t catch what he asked him there]”
Rob: “You have to adapt to new cirscumstance, life is always changing”.
*Laurent: “Do you also have time to fall in love?”
Rob: “*laughs* yes I think there’s always time for that.”
*Laurent: “You’re going to be in Bel Ami next?”
Rob: “It’s one of my favorite books. [Then he said something about it being weird that it was a French book but they had to adapt it in English.]

Now I know why all women dream of Robert Pattinson …
Fate has bitten him. He’s ‘crookedly’ beautiful. Sleepy eyes. Angular head. tousled hair. Scruffy vampire beard. Hot lips. an innocent, shy, romantic smile. Perfect?!
Robert Pattinson (24, “Twilight” saga), the man with whom every woman wants to have breakfast. A mix of Hugh Grant, James Dean, Jesus Christ and beer-drinking vampire.
“Hotel de Rome. Roof terrace. Bodyguard. Assistants – and BILD.
He is tall, shy, open, relaxed, friendly, humble, loves to laugh and has a warm, careful voice. He drinks Coke.
He’s wearing an outfit by Hugo Boss: ” a gift that was in my suite – and my stuff was dirty.”
BILD: Describe yourself?
I don’t even know who I am. Before I was famous, it was easier. Now it’s hard. You still have to talk about yourself, your character is exhausted. I am who I am.
He came with Air Berlin from the Caribbean – no private jet.
He travels with just hand luggage: backpack, bag and guitar.
He smokes, is allergic to weed and earned 27 million dollars last year. His life’s dream and nightmare.
His success is his prison: “I’m afraid to buy a house because it would then be besieged.” He is on the run – for millions of fans.
His latest movie “Water for Elephants” is a true mirror of his soul (yesterday was the premiere in Berlin, Germany). Story: A young vet loses everything. He jumps on a circus train and has to grow up the hard way. His love: Reese Witherspoon. His opponent: Christoph Waltz!
A kind of “Gone with the Wind” on railroad tracks. ‘I felt so good while making the movie because I could be myself. I didn’t have to say much – but I had to react more. It almost felt like my soul was naked and bare.’
BILD: How do you live?
‘I wake up and fall asleep. My most important friend is my alarm clock. I read books on my Kindle and my iPad2.’
BILD: Do you believe in fate?
‘I think so yes. It makes things easier: you can do what you want’
BILD: What does happiness mean to you?
‘Simple things. It’s easy to make me happy. A pizza and a sixpack beer are enough.’
BILD: What is your most important possession?
‘I don’t want to own things. I always have my Gibson electric guitar from 1963 with me. I love losing my phone: makes me feel free.’
BILD: Any ‘bad habits’?
I’m obsessed sometimes. I hoard and collect things – but I don’t have a house. I put everything in storage houses.
BILD:What makes Rob unique?
‘You just have to look at him!’ Director Francis Lawrence laughs: ‘He’s got something mysterious, magnetic. Just a camera can capture that and it makes people radiate!’ Robert Pattinson laughs – at himself.
BILD: Are you single or in love?
He laughs even more. His big blue eyes look at me. His teeth dazzle: “Well, yes, I am single, but I’m in love too.”
BILD: With whom?
He laughs, I laugh, we laugh. “I sometimes feel like a native in the jungle. Such a question is like a picture of my soul. And I won’t let my soul be stolen.’

Robert Pattinson & Kristen on the cover of EW – first Breaking Dawn Stills! 3 comments
Here are the first stills from Breaking Dawn and pic of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in the May issue of Entertainment Weekly:
Fans have waited years to see Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward (Robert Pattinson) tie the knot, and the wedding scene, scheduled for the end of production on The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, proved to be equally climactic for those involved. “It was one of the coolest things that I’ve done,” says Stewart. “There was a certain point when I walked on set, and I saw everyone from the entire cast sitting there in the pews, about to do their bit. And it was just so perfect for me in that moment. It was so emotional in such a real way. I literally felt like thanking them for coming.”
