Robert Pattinson has given young girls—and everyone else, for that matter—another reason to love him even more.
Here’s how it came about: About a year ago, Pattinson donated a meet and greet with fans on the set of Breaking Dawn for a charity auction.
Not only did a Chicago family win the coveted prize with a bid of $80,000, but…
The money raised by Pattz for the Go Campaign is being used 100 percent to build a permanent home for PAGE (Program Advancing Girls Education), an organization helping to educate teen girls in Cambodia.
PAGE currently houses 12 girls in a rented facility. Sadly, they’ve had to move several times over the last three years because of health and safety concerns.
The new home will accommodate 20 girls. Run by Cambodian monks in Siem Reap, Cambodia, PAGE has also bought a piece of land large enough for its own vegetable garden to help feed the students.
And now we’re happy to report that Pattinson is helping the Go Campaign again! He’s donated a private screening of Breaking Dawn for 20 people that will take place in Los Angeles on Nov. 17, the night before the movie opens in theaters.
Guests will also take home a Twilight gift bag that includes signed posters, DVDs and a replica of Bella’s wedding ring, among many other goodies.
Like last year, Pattinson’s package is part of the auction that coincides with the Go Campaign’s Go Go Gala. Hosted by Ewan McGregor, the fourth annual event takes place Nov. 10 at the London Hotel in Los Angeles.
The set visit was the highest bid ever for a Go Campaign auction. Will R.Pattz shatter his own record this time around?
Bill Condon: [Filming in Brazil] was so fun. That’s how we started the movie, too. We spent our first couple weeks there, you know. And it was so great to actually feel, you know—it was actually our biggest experience of fans, kind of being on the set or tracking Rob and Kristen. It actually calmed down after that, but you really felt the excitement when you were there, you know?
You know, RTL-TVI broadcast for the first time the first installment of the Twilight saga.
But that’s not all … RTL-TVI promises a special evening!
Indeed, in addition to the broadcasting of Twilight, we will have the right to an exclusive report at 7:45 p.m., “Twilight: the heart of the phenomenon.” This report will be presented by Sandrine Corman and provide an update on the saga and decrypt the recipe that made it successful. There will also be an exclusive interview with Robert Pattinson and see some pictures of the filming of Breaking Dawn.
Throughout the 10th November, RTL-TVI will also feature footage of the success story of Twilight.
And of course, from 8:20 p.m., you can rediscover the first part of the saga.
Tears of joy and cries of hysteria animated the Boulevard desCapucines in the ninth arrondissement of Paris on October 23. The reason is simple: Edward and Alice Cullen have agreed to meet their fans. Fans will have understood that it is the presence in Paris of Robert Pattinson and Ashley Greene, hero of the Twilight sagais the episode Revelation (Part I) landed in France on November 16.
If there will be no premiere in Paris organized with all the film crew, the Twilightmaniacs consoled themselves with the arrival of the main hero of the feature film, Robert Pattinson. His partner andlover (in the movie, for sure, in life, doubt remains because there are indications that they would do well as a couple), KristenStewart, is absent, probably because of the difficult filming of Snow White and the hunter.
So, Ashley Greene, dressed by Givenchy, moved to meet the 500happy fans came to ask questions to both actors. After gettinganswers to their questions about films and characters, spectatorswere treated to ten minutes of images of the fourth chapter ofTwilight. Some were disappointed because it was more a question of a compilation of previously released excerpts of that original videos.
We’ve made signs for those of you who will be attending the Breaking Dawn part 1 Fan Events and Premieres! You can print them and bring them with you to the events. Tip: take a marker (dark and light) with you and something hard for underneath the sign so Rob (and Ashley) will be able to sign easily.
We’d love to see a pic of the signs at the venue and/or signed 🙂
