No One From ToR Was Present at The Remember Me Premiere Last Night   16 comments

We’ve been hearing from many that they’ve met people from our site last night at the Remember Me Premiere. I want to say that no one from Thinking of Rob was at the Remember Me Premiere last night except Rebekah who was nowhere near the press area.

From what we’ve been told 2 girls had fake press passes and tried to gain access to the press area and caused some havoc. Furthermore from what we’ve been told this was not only at the Premiere but at NBC as well. We’re very sorry this was done under Thinking of Rob’s name and feel embarrassed to have this image projected onto us. However in the society we live in we all know how easy it is to spread false rumors. Therefore we wanted to take a moment out of this busy day to clear our name.

I can assure you that no one from our site tried to access the press section at the Remember Me Premiere last night. In fact we were all on here posting updates. If you’ve met people at the Remember Me Premiere last night it was not us but people claiming to be us.

  1. Well, people just suck, don’t they??

  2. As there are crazy people and using the names of respectable people to not have any respect with them or with their idols.

Lack of respect is the worst fault in a person …

    My sympathy to you!

  4. Just when you think people can’t stoop any lower…yuck!

I’m so sorry that this happened.

  5. You have a lovely site here and I’m so sorry that happened to you! Why am I not surprised that someone stole your good name to gain access as press. Is there any way sites like yours can protect yourselves from that sort of thing? That’s the question, huh? I wish i had the answer. I’m sure though that security people have seen that many times before and know that it has nothing to do with your site. Anyone can take any blog’s name and pose as press. Don’t take it too personally.

  6. OMG, I am so sad. This is one of my favorite sites. It really sucks that two people had to ruin it for all of us!! I respect your site and decision to keep it or take it down. A very sad loyal fan of your site!!

  7. I too LOVE TOR and it really sucks that because of some immature, desperate, pathetic wanna be, we may lose the site. Besides RAoR, this site and Robsessed are really the only sites I really check out anymore. :o( But I too respect whatever decision you ladies choose. Just know that you’ve brought ALOT of people great joy with bringing straight facts and beautiful pics and graphics to Rob’s fans! ❤

  8. This is one low down dirty stunt. ToR is my favorite Rob site. I’m so sorry this happened to you. Please don’t give up!! Your HQ picks alone are to die for! I hope everything works out for you!

  9. My faith in the human race diminishes a little bit every day because of stupid people. So sorry this happened to you. I’ve been following you for a long while and I know that you have respect for Rob and everything and everyone associated with him. You have proven this with the way your site represents itself. Keep your chin up. You still have tons of fans.

  10. I really can’t understand some people. Actions like that give Rob a bad name, too. How disrespectful to him and to the wonderful people who run this site.

I purposely did not even entertain the thought of going to any of the events yesterday in NYC and I’m not far away. I do not want to be a part of the hysteria, the immature rantings of girls/women, young and old, who act like children around Rob.

I am one of the older fans, I admit, and I will gush about him to my friends on Facebook and my friends at work, but I have no desire to act like a fool in public.

The people who posed as representatives from ToR should be held accountable for their actions and I hope that the people from Summit, Remember Me, Rob, etc realize what truly happened.

  11. Just wanted to add that your site has the utmost respect for Rob and the fact that this happened makes it all the more painful.

  12. I do hope in the end you decide to stay with it. You do a wonderful service to the Robert community. Don’t walk away on this note.. if you walk away do it because it’s been a good run and it’s time to fold not because there are jerks in the world cause sisters that is what it is, they are everywhere.

  13. Coming out of lurkdom to say thank you for all you do. It would be a terrible shame if you closed the blog as it’s simply fabulous but I would understand if you feel you have no other choice. I hope the impersonators cease and desist forthwith. And people, please just chill!

  14. I’m so sorry that this happened.

  15. *HUGS* 😦 hmmmm…

Wonder who else tried this type of stunt LOL, and under what other names they tried it under (it isn’t actually very original X-D)?

To be honest, never heard a thing about it (I am just the general mainstream *grins*). Interesting they chose TOR to represent (you guys have started making a name for yourselves).

Also a very interesting opportunity, if I do say so. An opportunity for your site to be brought further into the front of many that are out there. What YOU represent is much more significant than the little play with your name.

As you grow, if you choose to take this challenge, you will encounter many other strange and/or unusual folks. It comes with the greater the impact you have on people. The negative will be minimal compared to the positive. You must focus on the force that drives you to do this in the first place and the positivity it creates.

Work it, use it, make the most of it.

    You’ve got the power.

    *BIG HUGS*
    Schelmy ❤
