PVR Pictures has announced that Bel Ami has been acquired at the Cannes Film Festival for distribution in India.
PVR Pictures, flagship film production and distribution arm of the PVR Group, acquired many high quality films to be released in India. Some of these much awaited films acquired are the year’s most-awaited movies like Rabbit Hole (Nicole Kidman and Aaron Eckhart), Bel Ami (Rob Pattinson, Uma Thurman, Christina Ricci), Butter (Hugh Jackman & Jennifer Garner), Jack (John Cusack), One Day (Jim Sturgess & Anne Hathaway), Jane Eyre to name a few. In the past, with movies like Burn After Reading, Blindness, Twilight, New Moon, Remember Me, Death At a Funeral, Taking Woodstock, Aviator, Chicago, Finding Neverland, Paris Je taime PVR Pictures with its path breaking efforts has been instrumental in recognizing the gap with respect to the demand and supply of discerning cinema and has successfully been able to contribute in developing the cinema viewing patterns by attracting a growing number of Indian audiences towards quality cinema.
