“I Was Broken” (by Marcus Foster)
I love it when Rob sings it – more depth and soul like he’s actually been there. *le sigh*
But love all his singing/writing. Them boys together (Marcus, Sam, Bobby and Rob) are brilliant singers/songwriters! 😀
I Was Broken is my favorite too =) But I love all his songs as well.
I vote for I was Broken.. whenever I hear it, I just have to put it on repeat over and over again.. I love the way he puts strength/emotion and passion into the song (even if Marcus wrote it.. Rob owns it in his own version)
But besides Broken, I love Stray Dog & To Roam too. You can feel he means every word he says 🙂 and that’s what makes him a wonderful musician.. & lets all cross our fingers and hope he continues doing little – unannounced – gigs in pubs 😉

I’m gonna say ‘i’ll be your lover too’…because my heart goes BUM wen Rob says ‘and we’ll melt into each other harms’
But I love the other So Much…and the new song from Song from a Room seems Great too I wich we could hear all the song.
Let me Sign is I think my favorite, but I like them all – his voice is so soulful and very captivating.
I luv his music but I will choose “I was Broken”.
Live ‘Let Me Sign’. It’s cool to hear how the noisy room gets quiet when he really gets into it. 🙂 ‘Stray Dog’ is probably my second favorite.

How to choose??? I guess I would have to be I was Broken, followed very closely by I’ll be Your Lover Too and Let Me Sign. His voice/songs literally leave me breathless.

But my fav performance of him is when he sing “I’ll be your lover too” ’cause a few times he started to laugh during singing it lol, and in the end too 🙂
When Rob is singing it’s like his heart is overflowing with emotions. I love his raw and soulful voice. I truly hope that one day he’ll make an album and I certainly want “I was broken” to be on it.
I totally agree!!! He makes you feel so much when he sings because he’s so emotional.

My favorite is though Never Think. I love the lyrics so badly. I was Broken is on a close second place. And then probably his new song… His voice in that one is heart-breaking!
Never think. By far. On the Twilight commentary he stated this version to be monotomous. He preferred a more dynamic performance. But I can listen to this song on repeat for hours and hours and so on and so long…
Love “I’ll Be Your Lover, Too” the most, but all his songs are awesome! Love his voice!

“I’ll Be Your Lover Too,” because of his giggles. One of the reasons he’s so adorable is that he can laugh at himself. A sweet personality, a terrific sense of humor, no apparent vanity, and a gorgeous face–what a great (and rare) combination!

I love “Never Think”!
Normally I would vote for “I Was Broken,” but Marcus owns that song. And I mean that in every way possible. Once I heard him singing it live, well, let’s just say that he’s the only voice I hear singing it when I think about it.
I would go with “Never Think.” I go all soft when Rob sings “…what’s in our home…” For some reason, it just stabs me and I die in the best possible way. But the truth is that I could listen to Rob sing his ABCs and I would love it.
Absolutely “Never Think” it’s been my favourite song of all songs I’ve listened to since I first heard it 🙂
I’ll be your lover too is hands down the best! It’s raw, hot and amazing. He messes up which makes him sound even better. It’s slow and deep. Hearing Rob say “you’ll be my queen, I’ll be your king and I’ll be your lover too” is the best. Come now ladies!

OMG!! I love Never Think! The emotion, depth and lyrics really touch my soul. Not a lot of songs are capable of doing that. His music overall is brilliant!

I almost never do Rob polls bc it’s too hard to choose one this or one that about Him. And with his music it’s impossible really. LOVE everything he’s done so much. O.k….very difficult choice. I just heard three of the songs for the first time tonight and they were great which made it more difficult…I think I have to go with “I Was Broken”…but again difficult choice…I love them all!!!
The only reason why I favor Never Think is because you can hear the strumming and the singing very well and I promise you I can hear it many times a day, every day. But the lyrics to I Was Broken are so–they literally give me goosebumps and god, the way he sings it with such passion..
It’s a tough, tough thing having to choose between those two.
Marcus Foster is one brilliant songwriter though, his lyrics are always dead-on.
