We’re a little late in starting our birthday project this year. Sorry guys. As you know DreamySim1 is an amazing designer and she will be designing a special book that we will send to Rob that will include all the comments in this post! (We’re thinking along the lines of a leather bound journal).

I just wanted to let you know that not every fan is one of those people who “tweets” your whereabouts, passes around leaked images, and does other such disrespectful things. Yes, unfortunately, those people exist, but there are people who are simply a fan and wants to see you shine like a proud moma bear 🙂

Firstly, i would like to thank TOR and DreamySim1, for giving Robert’s fans the opportunity to wish him a very special happy 25th birthday, and perhaps share what he means to them…
After my daughter and i witnessed the devastating passing of her amazing father and my lovely husband, life was understandably difficult…A little while later my Mia would discover the Twilight novels and devour them…She was giddy when she heard Twilight was to be made into a movie, and i was giddy to be able to eventually take her to all of the movies. I appreciated the source of comfort and joy the Twilight saga’s brought to my daughter, which became something i was able to share with her.
It was not long after this that i too would become as big a fan, of Robert’s in particular. His other movies; How To Be, Remember Me, Little Ashes, and of course, Water For Elephants, would become my Twilight. Rob’s music, though not enough of it;) enjoyment for me. Most importantly, it would be Robert’s beautiful self inwardly; his easy smile, his genuine, humble, shy, sweet, witty, funny, refreshing, and charming personality that truly won me over, making him even more beautiful outwardly. Rob’s traditional ideals, gave me an even deeper respect for him. His interviews have always put a smile on my face, that or they would just put me into a state of laughter.
Robert has been a wonderful distraction in my life. He has managed to be able to touch lives, in he case of myself and my family, something many artists would love to achieve. Robert is an extremely talented young man, who more importantly, is an exceptional human being. His parents must be proud, they should also be proud of themselves. I am so happy to be a fan of Robert’s and support him in his journey, respectfully. I wish him all of the happiness he deserves, and the success that he wants…

I hope you see some of the amazing video’s people made for you. It’s nice to see how much you inspire people. You have a solid adult fan base and we adore you and will support you in all your projects. A few years ago I saw you in HP and thought you were very handsome. Some time after that I read Twilight, felt 17 again and in love, I read the other three books that same week. Then I watched Twilight and wanted to know more about the movie, so I googled it. That’s when I came across your interviews for Twilight. I have been your fan ever since. I couldn’t believe my eyes and ears…You are handsome on the outside but also very beautiful on the inside! You have an awesome personality, you are witty and intelligent and you have a great sense of humour! You are a down to earth guy and come across as very patient (with fans) and genuine. It’s nice to know that Hollywood and all that screaming didn’t turn you into something “fake”. Please continue like this. Can’t wait to see ‘Bel Ami’ and ‘Cosmopolis’. On the 6th May, 2011 my Mother and I were at the Australian Premiere of “Water For Elephant” at the State Theatre, Sydney. I was very disappointed.
When we were walking down the Red Carpet we walked past you and you were on a stage being interviewed by Livina Nixon.
I stopped to take a photo and was told by the security guards to “Move Forward”.
I think they said it rudely.
I didn’t want to them get the annoyed with me, so I moved forward.
They wouldn’t give me that few seconds to take one photo.
My photo ended up blurry.
The fans who turned up to stand at the barricades got photos with you, autographs and they didn’t pay anything.
The fans who paid over $100 per ticket could get one photo of you in focus.
As a result of this disappointing experience, I will never pay to go to a premiere again and if I did I would stand at the barricades instead. I did enjoy the movie, but I didn’t pay over $100 to see just a movie.
I thought the Premiere experience would be different.
We should have been treated with more respect by security.
We should have been made to feel special.
Not treated like cattle.
There were too many people and we had to line up to get on to the Red Carpet for 75mins.
Most of the people didn’t even pay and they weren’t fans and they didn’t really care if they were there or not.
I thought you should know.

I don’t really know where to begin without sounding too corny.
This may seem strange to you, as I don’t think you understand the magnitude of the way that you touch peoples lives; but I just want to say thank you so much for inspiring me to be the person that I am today. I attend a school where the majority of people have the “mean girl” persona, everybody looks and acts the same, and I was always scared to branch out and be my own person, as I was always into music by neil young, the kinks ect, and read book by bukowski and amis but it always had to be in secret as it would be deemed as “uncool” by my “friends”. Then you came along, and discussed books, music and films that you enjoy; that were very similar to my style, and you were still seen as “cool and intersesting” which gave me the confidence to come out of my shell and be who I wanted to be, and I told people that I played instruments and listened to different music and read strange books, and I found out who my real friends were, because they accepted me for who I am. So I am extremely grateful to you, you are a real inspiration to all the closet geeks! I hope you had a wonderful birthday that you spent with the people you love, with privacy and peace because nobody deserves it more than you. Sorry for my frequent use of the word “cool” it never fails to cringe me. Lots of love fellow brit jess sivner.

Sometimes, as a fan, I ask myself if I’m being selfish for being it; like I feel that the papz chase you because you have a fanbase that will be eager for pics and stuff. I am a part of that fanbase but I don’t want to see those pics, of course that when there was this premiere and you chose to give K a kiss knowing that the papz were there etc. I did loved seeing them. With all of this I wanted to tell you that I’m sorry and I hope this is over -or at least not happening frecuently- by the end of the year (for saying something).
With all of that it reads like I feel sorry for you, but I don’t. There are a lot of people that loves you and supports you (the funny guy with a pretty and talented girlfriend, not some sparkly character). You are a lucky young man with an amazing woman by the side. I wish that one day someone will look at me the way you look at her -this is a kind of selfish remark isn’t it?-. Anyways, I have to thank you because you are one of the reasons I believe in love:) I’m so cheesy, but I’m trying to be honest over here.
