Lautner finished his scenes this year and admits that saying goodbye to the character that made him a superstar was difficult.
“We would always get sad when we finished filming a little bit, but in the back of our minds we always knew we would be coming back to film another one,” he says.
“But now knowing there is no more going back to playing Jacob Black is a weird feeling. “On the positive side, we get to promote them for the next year and a half so we will be spending time together like that. But when it’s all said and done, the biggest thing I have taken from that franchise are my friendships with everybody.”
As luck would have it for Lautner, his final scenes were also among his most challenging, particularly as he farewelled Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, both of whom have become his “super close” friends.
“It was tough,” he says. “And it didn’t help that my last scene with Rob and Kristen was a dancing scene where it is kind of Jacob’s last dance with Bella at her wedding.
“It’s an emotional scene for Jacob because he is basically saying goodbye to Bella and at the back of my mind I was saying goodbye to them and the franchise.
“And then my very last shot of the franchise was a shot where Jacob thinks Bella has died and he runs into the backyard and falls to the ground and just loses it and starts balling.”

We are simply astounded at the amount of donations coming in. We didn’t think of doing an auction at first but people have been so generous in donating items and money. People are still sending us stuff to auction which is great! So far we’ve managed to raise 450$ in direct donations (this does not include the auctions, as those are still running until Friday September the 23rd).
We’d like to give a huge shout out to New Moon Director Chris Weitz who emailed us asking how he could help. He will be donating a signed New Moon companion which we will put up for auction on Monday. This isn’t only limited to the Twilight Fandom, Christoph Waltz Fans have also donated. A huge thank you to our affiliate Robert Pattinson UK who have been relentless in helping spread the word.
Shannon has been very busy taking care of her husband. but I’m sure she would like me to thank each and every one of you who has donated, has given items or is helping us spread the word. She is very grateful for everything and says that every little tweet gives them courage to carry on.

“We have had a rough couple of days. 😦 The physical therapy has started and there has been a crazy pain to deal with and fever. They were afraid he had infection, then a blood clot. Things finally stabilized this evening. I have been trying to check my phone to follow Operation Help Schelmy. It has been cheering my husband and I even hit the internet quickly to show him the auction site images :-D!!!! You guys are a force of nature. I am so lucky to have an amazing friend like you. *BIGGEST WARM HUGS and LOVE* Please tell everyone I am so touched by their efforts. We can’t get over what you guys are doing! When I went down to help out my DH, I mentioned the chrisweitz donation <3. His eyes teared. This afternoon I showed him the donations. He really understands how generous these are. People’s treasures given to help us. It means so much. Every RT, Every sweet well wish…it gives us hope and strength. I am sooo crying right now. ❤ Happy warm tears…don’t worry….you have made me so happy. These kind ppl ….I want to hug everyone…”

As most of you know Shannon aka Schelmy ’s husband had an accident and fell 25 feet to the ground a few weeks ago. He survived but had many injuries which required surgeries.
Unfortunately they were in the process of renewing their insurance when this happened and a few days before the accident, their insurance ran out… Shannon received her 1st hospital bill this week. It’s 136,000.00$ US. The hospital has refused to negotiate a payment plan and has given them 30 days to pay this amount. For this family, this could mean losing it all. Shannon is one of the most caring and sweetaest persons I know. She always puts herself out there to help everyone. Now it’s our turn to do the same for her. If you were in New York City at the Water for Elephants Premiere you might have met her. She was with us.

So, we have absolutely no clue what we’re doing so we’re starting off with one auction today to test things out. This auction is for a 2009 copy of Vanity Fair featuring Robert Pattinson on the cover. The magazine was donated by DreamySim1.
