“I’m in it for movies. I’m not interested in trying to sell my personal life.”

-Robert Pattinson

More after the jump!

“The tabloid industry does terrible, terrible things for the world. It makes people stupid. People say [tabloids] are about escapism, and people have got to get away from the misery of the world. It’s like, ‘No, people are lazy, and they don’t want to try.’ … Every time I’ve looked at a magazine like that, I’ve regretted it. I gain absolutely nothing from it. And neither does anyone else.” -Robert Pattinson

“Why can’t I remember anything? I can’t remember reading any books! I read these books on hypnotism.” -Robert Pattinson

“There was also something about Tyler, the way he reacted to things seemed very relatable to me, and I hadn’t seen another character like it in like 100 scripts.” -Robert Pattinson (On Tyler Hawkins)

“It’s hard to walk down the street. You can’t just do it in a regular way. I have to think about my moves. I can’t just casually run out to the store to buy milk. I have to plan ahead and figure out if the paparazzi will be there.” -Robert Pattinson

“I never do anything normal anyway. I just get other people to do it now. [laughs]” -Robert Pattinson

“It’s weird, because people have this one-sided relationship where they look at your picture and feel they know you more than someone the actually know. I don’t really know myself that well.” -Robert Pattinson

“My life is pretty much identical to before. I don’t really do that much. All I do is read books and watch movies, I’m pretty boring.” -Robert Pattinson

I really hope Rob continues think that way. He is such a wonderful person and people really need to leave his personal life alone. Rob, keep living your life as you see fit! Who cares about what other people think anyway? You’re an amazing actor and a wonderful person.
