“We arrived there at about 6 and there were only about 10 of us there, including a friend of ours that went with us to the set on Sunday. Half-hour later, Rob’s car arrived and into the trailer he went. It then became a waiting game.
As the hours passed, we were pretty much losing hope of him signing anything because the group kept growing larger and larger. At one point, there were about 50 or 60 people there. All we (Sandy, Debi and myself) kept hoping was that he’d do the same thing he had done the night before. Just past 10:30 pm, Rob came out of his trailer and was whisked away from us.
By that time, I had convinced myself that I would be content to just have that last glimpse of him as he got into the car. The fact that he was still in his Eric Packer clothes gave us hope. Once he left in the car practically everyone left, leaving about 8 of us. Once again, Sandy came through. She grabbed my car keys and drove down to the set just to confirm whether or not they were in fact still filming. She came back with some Muffins and water (as we had not eaten) and confirmed that the Pretty was on set. We hoped that this shoot would not go on until the wee hours of the morning.
Half hour later our persistence paid off!!! He came back and into the trailer he went, at which point Dean came to us and told us he would sign our stuff but no pics. We were all just fine with that. Minutes later, he came out of the trailer in his street clothes (and don’t go hating on the red pants, they were fucking sexy on him). We lined up like good little school girls and one by one he signed for everyone. He asked everyone for their names and signed everything.
He laughs so easily and really is incredibly nice to everyone, not to mention how beautiful he really is. Pics DO NOT do him justice.
.
My exchange went like this:
Rob: What’s your name?
Teresa: Teresa.
R: Is that with an ‘H’ or just a ‘T’?
T: Without the ‘H,’ thanks for asking. Thank you.
R: No problem.
Needless to say, my AnOther Man magazine and my Sharpie pen will be enshrined. I’m so glad I stuck it out and I’m still smiling. I think I’ll be smiling forever! “
“COSMOPOLIS’ set has been visited by some of the major stars of today’s film industry. Besides Twilight Saga’s idol, Robert Pattinson, who took Eric Packer’s role in the highly sought-for David Cronenberg’s new project, also Sarah Gadon and Kevin Durand have been at the set, based in Toronto.
. Internationally acclaimed French actress Juliette Binoche has already embodied Didi Fincher, her character on this adaptation of Don DeLillo’s novel. For this Oscar winner actress this was her first film David Cronenberg’s project.
.
Samantha Morton, two times Academy Award nominee, is already workingwith the “Crash” director, in Toronto. The British actress who plays Vija Kinski, Eric Packer’s Chief of Theory, already confessed she is “a huge fan” of David Cronenberg’s work.
.
Soon, French actor and director Mathieu Amalric will take part in COSMOPOLIS’ shooting and play Andre Petrescu.
.
Somali-canadian poet and rapper K’naan also got involved in COSMOPOLIS and will have a special appearance in the film. This multiple Juno Award winner is the last addition to one of the most exciting film of the year.
MTV’s Josh Horowitz, who’s interviewed Robert Pattinson a number of times, gave a spontaneous Twitter Q&A session yesterday which included answering many fans questions on Robert Pattinson. For those who missed it, we’ve posted them here for you.
.
Fan Question: What do you think of ‘Cosmopolis’ as a project for Rob? Do you think it will help him distance himself from the Edward character?
Josh: Super smart move. Best thing an actor can do is choose projects based on Directors and Cronenburg is one of the best.
.
Q: Bel Ami – have you heard anything about it being released in US?
Josh: Nope. Last I heard was Rob himself didn’t have a clue.
The biggest shocker to come out of the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night (June 5) was hands down that Robert Pattinson treated Taylor Lautner to a smooch almost as passionate as the ones in the Golden Popcorn-winning “Twilight Saga” films.
.
But while it came as a surprise to those of us watching the awards show, the stars of this year’s nominated “Eclipse” said it was about time the two onscreen rivals shared a kiss. “It was about damn time, man. It’s been up in the air for about three years now. I think we’ve all been waiting for Rob and Taylor to kiss,” Jackson Rathbone told MTV News when we caught up with him backstage at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles. “We knew it was coming, and finally it did. Finally, they acknowledged their love for each other.”
Rathbone’s vampire brother Kellan Lutz admitted he was a bit surprised, but their co-star Peter Facinelli shared a little secret about how the RPattz/Taylor smooch went off without a hitch.
.
“They asked us to show them in practice,” Facinelli said. “We taught them everything they know,” Lutz confirmed.
Nikki Reed chimed in, saying she wanted to see some visual proof of the tale Lutz and Facinelli were weaving. “Let’s re-enact that!” she begged, but the duo passed, insisting Facinelli had already pecked Lutz on the cheek earlier in our interview.
Tinsel Korey hought the Pattinson and Lautner kiss was “totally sexy,” but Kiowa Gordon said he “puked a little bit” when his onscreen enemies locked lips. BooBoo Stewart had “no comment,” but Julia Jones at least “thought it was cute.”
All seemed to have been smoothed over by the time Pattinson, Lautner and their co-stars took the stage to accept the Best Movie award, with Lautner teasingly giving his sparkly co-star a knowing look and a quick tap on the chin before throwing his arm around his shoulder.
.
As Rathbone said, those two should be nominated for a special award at next year’s Movie Awards for Best Man-On-Man Kiss.
Video: Bryce Dallas Howard and Xavier Samuel on being surprised to win Best fight along with co-star Robert Pattinson. Below they talk about how they didnt quite get Robs joke during the acceptance speech. (which you can watch HERE)
From MTV: It was something of a surprise for everyone in the “Twilight” cast when the epic fight scene at the end of “Eclipse” beat out “Inception,” “The Fighter,” “Kick-Ass” and “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1” for the Best Fight Golden Popcorn. But what had co-stars Bryce Dallas Howard and Xavier Samuel scratching their heads even more was the joke Robert Pattinson made at the end of his acceptance speech.
The joke came after Bryce apologized to Rob for trying to kill him in the movie. “It’s fine,” he responded. “I ripped your head off, and now you’re pregnant.” Cut to Kristen Stewart mouthing, “What?” and ducking her head in embarrassment.
“That was a really advanced joke,” Bryce said. “I didn’t get it.”
“I’m not sure what…” Xavier started before trailing off in confusion. “I guess in ‘Breaking Dawn’ Bella’s pregnant, so I guess that’s the joke?”
But the duo definitely did know why they won the award even if they didn’t necessarily think they had the best movie fight. Bryce explained it best by saying, “Two words: Robert Pattinson. That’s why.”
