EXCLUSIVE: The MTV Movie Awards are slowly creeping closer and closer (they’re June 6, FYI), and while the Oscars and Grammys are good and all, let’s face it: MTV’s awards shows are significantly more fun. Could you imagine a Kanye-Taylor or Eminem-Bruno incidents happening at one of those stuffy shows?
The correct answer is no. So, as anticipation builds,PopEater is proud to exclusively premiere the nominees from two of the night’s biggest categories: Best Male and Female Performance! And, for the worldly set, we’ve also got the dime on Global Superstar, a new category giving praise to the biggest names the planet has to offer. (Sadly, The Hoff didn’t get a nod.) So who stands to win big?
Best Female Performance
— Amanda Seyfried – ‘Dear John’
— Emma Watson – ‘Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince’
— Kristen Stewart – ‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’
— Sandra Bullock – ‘The Blind Side’
— Zoe Saldana – ‘Avatar’
Best Male Performance
— Channing Tatum – ‘Dear John’
— Daniel Radcliffe – ‘Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince’
— Robert Pattinson – ‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’
— Taylor Lautner – ‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’
— Zac Efron – ’17 Again’

We’ll get to Robert Pattinson & Co. in a second, but first this: If you think the Betty White parade ended at Saturday Night Live, think again.
Hollywood’s 88-year-old It Girl has been nominated for…
an MTV Movie Award!
The funny lady’s work copping a feel of Sandra Bullock’s boobs in The Proposal is up for Best WTF Moment. Her competition includes Bill Murray as a surprise zombie in Zombieland, Isabel Lucas’ transformation in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and Megan Fox’s lovely vomiting of a gross black ooze in Jennifer’s Body.
Ken Jeong is another nominee for his hilarious naked trunk surprise in The Hangover. “I am so honored and very humbled by the nominations,” Jeong said in a statement. “Thank you to all the fans that voted for me and my penis.”
No word yet if White plans to thank Bullock’s bosom.
Twilight Saga: New Moon is up for Best Movie. And while we’re sure our fave vampire sequel has the support to win, it’s got stiff competition from the other nominees: Alice in Wonderland, Avatar, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and The Hangover. Voting for Best Movie actually stays live throughout the live awards show telecast on June 6 at MTV.com.
Now, let’s all promise if we see Rob Pattinson hanging with Betty White, don’t go hatin’ on the Golden Girl. We’re sure they’re just friends.
