After I thought of the question and I started thinking about what I would like him to sing. This was the first song I thought of.
It’s complicated choose one,but..I love “Unchained Melody” and hear it with his voice would be great, the song will have another “touch” with his version 🙂
About the another question, I would say Johnny Cash,Jerry Lee Lewis and Elvis Presley. Would be great with his musical endowments 😉

I’d prefer Rob to sing his own songs instead of doing covers, but if I have to choose…
I choose two of my all time favorite songs:
Against all odds – Phill Collins (Of course Rob has to play the piano!)
Unchain my heart – Joe Cocker (Rob has to play the guitar!)
I’m very curious what his versions would sound like.
I think that if Rob could choose he would say Van Morrison, but I would prefer him in the role of Jim Morrison. Would be an interesting character for him to play.

How about we all just encourage him to record whatever he wants. Frankly I’d like to hear what he finds in his passion for music. He’s got some stuff he’s written, no doubt, and there are tunes out there that he could be pitched. I wouldn’t be surprised if he recorded something under a different name. The thing we all have to keep in mind is that he would be recording it as Robert (Rob) Pattinson the musician, not Edward Cullen (or other roles). Many would expect it to be a Twilight kind of thing. I think if and when, emphasis on when, he does record it is going to be something so different and unexpected some, or many, will be shocked and disappointed. That’s why I think it will be a long time before he does anything. For me I can handle that potential shock but music reveals ones true self..and that is what I think he would give us.
NOTE to Robert-
Please record something for us…your choice..if you don’t want to make money off Twilight fame then donate to charity. The good will you would get would far outweigh anything you’ve done in the past and it would benefit so many.

Definitely Hallelujah or Mad World (that would be epic). As for singer sure he could play Kurt and totally own the role like no other. I’d like to see him play someone farther back that could really stretch his range like Bob Dylan (he’d have to really change his voice around) or Jerry Lee Lewis (which would be awesome just to see him at the piano minus all the weird he married a teenager stuff). Another good singer he could totally play and that I’m sure he’d die to play – Van Morrison.
