ETA: More from Rob’s interview

“It seems crazy but when I signed on for the first ‘Twilight’ movie, I was certain the sequels would never be made and that I was only committing for one movie … Looking back, I feel like the saga was often attacked, sometimes with no good reason. Not that it’s comparable but noboby ever reacted that violently towards the Backstreet Boys at that time (laughs)! I feel like the last movie will get a better welcome. It was made for fans, it’s almost like a love letter to them. The film is funny, very tender and it doesn’t try to draw in an audience that isn’t his. You’ll see, this is exactly why it will please fans the most.”

The editor-in-chief tweeted a preview of Rob’s interview.

Translation

#Pattinson “In my head, I only signed on for one movie, I was certain that the sequels would never get made/greenlighted.”

#Pattinson Twilight was constantly attacked (…) But nobody took it out this violently on the Backstreet Boys at that time.”

#Pattinson I sometime feel like I’ve been spending my career on the edge of a bridge, ready to jump, until someone held me back

Translation

For 4 years, the Twilight vampires haunted our theaters. The saga ends with ‘Breaking Dawn – Part 2’ out on November 14th, and we got to meet exclusively the main actors Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson in LA. The on screen couple who went through a difficult time off screen, won’t answer any personal questions but will talk about life after Twilight.

Rob: I’m kind of excited about it, at the moment. I’m not sad for now but I think I might be when we’re done with promoting it. It lasted a long time and it’s done now, it’s complete, it’s kind of exciting

Rob: I’m sure some people will say ‘they changed the story!’ but I hope they’ll still like it.

Movies that made Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson into movie stars, the latter has a mass of projects coming up.

Rob: I’m filming a lot of movies next year. For starters, ‘The Rover’ is some sort of futuristic western that means a lot to me. And I might film in Iraq but I’m not sure when. And finally I’m gonna shoot with Cronenberg again, it’s incredible.

Robert Pattinson on Eonline’s “Twilight’s 5 Stars Most Likely To Succeed” List.   2 comments

Eonline has looked into the future and created “Twilight’s 5 Stars Most Likely To Succeed” list.  While many of us feel that several members of the Twilight cast will undoubtedly have long, successful careers, we thought we’d skip right to the best part…Robert Pattinson.

With careful choice’s on past projects and the increasingly long list of future endeavors, was there any doubt that Rob would be successful? No, not at all.

Below is an excerpt from the eonline article.

Robert Pattinson: The sole male who earned himself a superlative on this list, R.Pattz is going to be just fine, people. Heck, he very well could be one of the only true movie stars of our generation. Not only does he take smaller, more controversial roles to keep people interested, but he’s just so dang charming that we can’t imagine the public will ever get sick of him.
