R-Pattz is back. We talk to the quiffed stud about New Moon Although his part in New Moon may be smaller than fans were hoping for, there’s no doubt Robert Pattinson is in the driving seat of the Twilight phenomenon, and standing on the edge of global superstardom.
A year on from our last date, we sat down with the actor on the eve of the release of the Twilight sequel New Moon, to discuss fame, mothers and all things Twilight.
How was it reuniting with Kristen Stewart for New Moon?
There’s a natural chemistry going on with Kristen. Even doing this sequel, it’s so easy… I was really worried that I wouldn’t know how to do it again, but it’s so easy to play off her.She always says that she pretty much got me the part – though I don’t really believe her!
What sort of arc does Edward go through this time?
He’s always talking in the first one. “I need to make the right decision. I need to do stuff for you, for you, for you.” And he makes a decisive move, which is to leave her, and he completely believes it’s for her own good.

In an interview given to MTV News ,Jackson says that New Moon has plenty of Edward scenes. Here is the interview:
When MTV News recently caught up with “New Moon” star Jackson Rathbone on the set of his new movie “Girlfriend,” we had to ask how much we’d be seeing Jasper Hale in the second installment of the “Twilight” saga.
“I only shot for three weeks, and out of those three weeks that I was [in Vancouver] I think I actually filmed four days,” Jackson said. “So, I mean, I’m not so much in ‘New Moon.’ “
Since Robert Pattinson’s Edward Cullen departs early in the book, he is largely absent, and the rest of the Cullens aren’t seen until the end of the story either.

tinkrbe1l3 asked me to make screencaps of Rob from the G4 interview he did, this is not a new interview. Here they are.
By the way if anyone knows a good screencapping software please let me know. Doing these by hand gets a little tedious.

Just a heads up
From His Golden Eyes
I just wanted to let you all know for your fan site about our upcoming Twilight: New Moon issue for USA Weekend magazine. It will be in newspapers starting Friday (our magazine appears in more than 600 newspapers across the country, with a 23 million circulation), and will feature a cover story about the popularity of vampires, plus an exclusive interview with Robert Pattinson. In addition, our cover will feature an exclusive new photo of Pattinson as Edward Cullen.

How are you?
Pattinson: Really good. In contrast to the ‘Twilight’ shooting, being on the set of New moon was much easier and not as stressful.
There won’t be any sex scenes this time either.
Pattinson: Yes. It’s a shame although I’d find it rather strange to do those kind of scenes.
Aren’t you tired of letting the fans wait?
Pattinson: Yes, I am! However, they will have to wait until last movie.

Here’s an interview Anna Kendrick gave to E!Online
I caught up with Kendrick last night at a private cocktail party, where it was announced she’ll receive the Rising Star Award at the Palms Springs International Film Festival in January.
As we all know, Pattinson isn’t so comfortable with all the attention he gets from fans. So I’m sure he’s hoping Kendrick’s New Moon prediction comes true. “Taylor will certainly capture the hearts of many people who thought they only had eyes for Rob,” Kendrick said of the upcoming second installment of the Twilight movie franchise. “He’s so cute. He’s such a cutie.”

Rivals in New Moon, Edward Cullen and Jacob Black are, in reality friends. Together, they reflect on the filming of the saga and on their new life as stars tracked by fans and paparazzi.
Both of you have very devoted fans. But have they become too intrusive?
Taylor Lautner: I believe that Robert and I have very different experiences concerning our relationship with the fans. As far as I’m concerned, I still credit them with Twilight. Without their support, the producers would have without a doubt replaced me for the role of Jacob after the first film.
Robert Pattinson: I remember that before the release of the first film, the fans hated me. On the internet I only read bad critiques of myself and it was really difficult to feel all this hate. Back then director Catherine Hardwicke had forbidden me from reading what people said about me on the web. I told her that it was my mother who sent me the links to the forums where they criticized me. Then she advised me to boycott all the emails that my mother sent me! [laughs] All that to say that the frenzy that I spark today doesn’t make me forget the horrors that I read about myself online.

Here are the mag scans of Rob in Sweden’s Glamour mag as well as the translation.
Translation:
Hottest right now!
Forget Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp… According to a survey, among Glamour readers, Robert Pattinson is the hottest right now. And doesn’t he have everything to wish for in a man… he’s sexy casual, makes great music and is dangerously handsome!
A taxi has driven in to him (without causing any damage to him), he makes strange statements about not washing his hair and changes hotel periodically to avoid excited fans.
Hollywoods new darling Robert Pattinson has what makes young females to scream whenever he’s around, which has resulted in him needing at least two bodyguards these days….
Is it his charming british accent, his credibility as a sexy vampire in the “Twilight”-movies or that he looks dangerous and cute at the same time, just like hunk icons such as Marlon Brando och Johnny Depp? Or is it because he just wants to be an ordinary guy, without attention, who’d rather read book and produce melancholy music in an apartment in soho (two of his songs are in Twilight)?
