I have to admit I’m a HUGE fan of Rob’s music. I love the emotion he puts into his voice when he sings. So this morning when I woke up I tried putting together the lyrics… It’s a bit hard, so here’s where I’m asking your help. I’ll write down the parts I “think” he sings. If you guys can help me fill in the gaps or correct the ones I have, maybe we can piece it together!
So here goes:

I can’t even…. I barely listen to (and never understand!!) the words, I’m still trying to put the voice to the man. It just seems to amazing to me that they are the same person.

softly on the street now’ – I’ve listened loads and I think its ‘Stream’ as in Guitar Stream. I’m also not sure about the map bit :-S

This part seems like its from another song of his I have on my ipod and it says “and our minds were sought upon that doorway.” He might have changed it for this song but that’s what mine version says.

Robert is perfect, Beautiful voice, lovely song, he plays guitar so great.

there is a bit of a generation gap in his music and mine but he is so good and I love this. Thanks for putting the words because I enjoyed it more. I liked Let Me Sign also. He is a great actor and very talented. And beautiful
its been buggin the hell out of me that i cant understand some of his lyrics but for those tough parts i think they go,
“there are pictures in her eyes, theyre a threat for the sky” (as in he was moved by her determination. whether in her personal life or professional career – a drive he didnt have at the time and i think this was written in the time they spent apart before NM filming)

“i was SENT for that mistake, but you moved” (i think this refers to Oregano and that Rob believes they were meant to fall in love the way they did, but she resisted at first, thats why its all on her…)

its all on you” (he was there for her, ready to be with her, willing to do anything to be with her)
the rest i havent figured out yet.
I was wondering how long it would take for someone to analyze it in a Robsten way *rolls eyes*
