A few weeks ago I posted how Shannon, someone who has been helping ToR and has been part of ToR from the start, was going through a rough time. Her husband fell through a skylight 25 feet to the ground. He survived but had many injuries and required various surgeries. You can see the original post here. I’ve seen pictures of her husband which I will not post because they are way too graphic.
Unfortunately they were in the process of renewing their insurance when this happened and a few days before the accident, their insurance ran out… Shannon received her 1st hospital bill this week. It’s 136,000.00$ US. This is the first of many bills. For this family, this could mean losing it all. Shannon is one of the most caring and sweetest persons I know. She always puts herself out there to help out everyone. Now it’s our turn to do the same for her. If you were in New York City at the Water for Elephants Premiere you might have met her. She was with us.
If you can help out any way possible by making a small donation to the family click on the link below. We will forward all the money to Shannon. A small bit sometimes goes a long way. Feel free to repost this on your sites. Anything you can do to help would be greatly appreciated.

In the coming week we’ll be auctioning off items to help Shannon. If you’d like to donate something Rob related for auction please e-mail us at thinkingofrob@hotmail.com
DreamySim1 will be auctioning a special wallpaper or banner for someone and we have some signed items to auction off as well.
Natalia Tena talks about meeting Robert Pattinson and Bel Ami in an interview with The Herald
They met in their late teens on a photoshoot for up-and-coming British actors. Afterwards they went to the pub and got drunk. Tena was holding down two bar jobs at the time, so actor Tom Sturridge, also on the shoot, rang her boss and said she’d had an accident and wasn’t coming in. “Needless to say I got fired,” she says. They then decided to go to Berlin, but only got as far as Tena’s flat. She couldn’t find her passport. “We had this summer of being really close,” she says. “Then I remember Robert taking me out a few months later. He was like, ‘I’m just saying goodbye because I’m going to America for a few months to do some vampire thing.’ I said ‘Cool, I’ll see you when you get back.’” And she explodes into laughter. “Now he’s massive. Literally massive. He used to be like a labrador puppy, but he’s much more mature and serious now.” So no problem with the sex scene in Bel Ami, then? “Because we know each other, it was cool,” she says. “We just took the piss. I said ‘You just bang me. Can we make it like anal sex, because it looks worse?’” Read the rest of the interview at The Herald.
Elizabeth Reaser talked about Rob & Kristen while she was at Time Warner’s Beyond 9/11 Photo Exhibit & screening on Sept. 8
“I adore Rob and Kristen. They are like family to me,” Elizabeth says. “They are both very shy and very sweet. Kristen is just a little sweetheart and I love her. And Rob is the same guy I met four years ago. I don’t even think of them as celebrities until I’m going somewhere where they will be and then there’s screaming and freaking out. It almost doesn’t register until we’re in a setting like Comic Con.”
In honour of all those who died on 9/11 we are going silent for the day to remember all the lives that were lost. We will not be tweeting or updating the site.

It’s been ten years since September 11th 2001. Ten years, 3,652 days. Somehow it seems as though it happened only yesterday… If you close your eyes, I’m sure you can see the images that were clearly imprinted on our collective minds 10 years ago today.
This post is dedicated to all the people who lost their lives on September 11th, to all the heroes who sacrificed their lives to save others, to all the family members and loved one who lost someone dear and still grieve today and to those who survived. This post is dedicated to the NYPD, the FDNY, the Port Authority, the Paramedics and to the regular people who risked their lives to save others and still wonder why they survived and others didn’t. This post is also dedicated to all the men and women, of all countries, who have fought and still fight in Iraq and Afghanistan today and to those who didn’t make it home… You truly are heroes.
It’s been ten years. Ten years ago we promised we would never forget… and we haven’t… we never will.
This post is also dedicated to Battalion Chief Orio Palmer who lost his life saving others on 9/11. It is our contribution to the 9/11 Tribute Movement. Please also take a moment to remember Robert E. Pattison, who died in the North Tower on 9/11. His family members have contacted us and you can find his story here.
