How closely do you work with actors?
Reese was very involved with creating a look for Marlena with [director] Francis [Lawrence] and me. We watched 30s films together and pored over hundreds of stills. She studied women’s postures, stances, body language. They even smoked differently. Rob [Pattinson] was wonderful in that way too.

TIMBERLAKE: I don’t think about my influence on stuff like that too much. I see a lot of young guys dressing more like I should have been dressing when I was their age. Robert Pattinson dresses properly. He’s more adept than I was. But I don’t know. I don’t think there’s been one specific person other than Sinatra who has influenced my style.

I had confirmation this morning from FOXAustralia that the blu-ray and DVD of Water for Elephants will be released in Australia on 19 October 2011. I’ll provide more info as soon as it comes to hand, but I thought you might want to mark it down in your diaries!
