Marlane Barnes (Maggie in Breaking Dawn Part 2) talks about Rob and Kristen in an interview with Pattinson Post
PattinsonPost: Did you have a chance to work with Rob Pattinson during filming? What were your impressions of him?
MB: We all spent a lot of time around one another for this shoot. Both onset and off I really got the impression that he is a very sweet, earnest guy who has a lot of interests. He also wants everyone to have a good time! He and Kristen both made it a point to go to the crew wrap party in Baton Rouge, for all the locals who wouldn’t be moving on to Vancouver. I think that says a lot about their team spirit and gratitude for all the work that goes on behind the scenes. I was really glad to have met both of them.

His breakthrough came as Edward Cullen in the Twilight series. He took many teenage hearts by storm. This part also opened many doors for him. Pattinson has taken every opportunity to build a life after Twilight. With roles in Little Ashes, Remember Me and Water for the Elephants, he has already shown that he is a versatile actor. With two films, Bel Ami and Cosmopolis, coming up there is still much more greatness to come.

Since Bel Ami is premiering tomorrow in the Netherlands there are some reviews coming out. Here’s a great one from Nu.nl. We just translated the few parts that mention Rob, read the entire review (in Dutch) HERE:
One thing is certain: Robert Pattinson, the teen idol that got famous by his part as romantic vampire in the Twilight Saga, is getting a lot more ‘action’ in his latest movie.
Good casting
Declan Donnellan and Nick Ormerod tell the story [of Bel Ami] in a solid way and have a great cast at their disposal. They’re not using it all to their full capacity, are somewhat too explanatory and have a bit much music, but for the rest there’s nothing really wrong with what they did.
And Pattinson is a good casting for the part of Duroy. He’s a pretty guy, we knew that already, but in Bel Ami he proves that he’s really capable of acting. Charme, sneaky, lust for power and resentment, all combined in one persona: Pattinson makes Bel Ami to be an intriguing presonage.
